Let’s start with the good part: the service was great - we had two waiters who were very attentive and super nice. If I were to give those two a rating they would get 5 stars.

Unfortunately, the kitchen and management of the restaurant were very disappointing. They offered a 3 course menu which sounded delicious which is why we chose this option. We were surprised to be served with fried everything - fried fish, fried veggies, fried meat. It tasted okay, but for me is nothing more than fast food (for which it’s a tad too expensive). The main problem was that from the menu it wasn’t apparent that it was going to be all fried and from a restaurant like this you wouldn’t expect it to be. Unfortunately, one of us cannot stomach this kind of food and wasn’t able to eat any of it. Her plates went back to the kitchen untouched. The dessert was the only thing she could eat but we found a long hair within, which simply spoiled her appetite.

To our suggestion to indicate on the menu that everything is fried, they reacted with no understanding and a tad of arrogance “it’s not our fault if you don’t like our food”. The hair in the dessert was commented with “these things happen”. Overall, we got the feeling that they don’t really care whether we are satisfied costumers or not, since we are anyways just tourist who will...

Very expensive for what it is. We ordered clams. And this is all we got. No sauce, no specific cooking. Nothing!!! Just plain clams, covered with sand. My husband sent it back to the kitchen. This was served with grilled vegetables… also same no sauce, no specific cooking. Just plain grilled vegetables…. I ordered a grilled fish. For 30€ I was expecting at least a sauce to come with it. Nope… just a plain grilled fish. It came full not even served in fillets. I asked if they could clean it for me and this was the ultimate désappointement. You expect in a fish restaurant that the waiters know how to get the fillet from the fish… nope!!! It was a carnage. All the fish broken into pieces, I would have done better myself. Als ich ankam, war das Restaurant bis auf zwei andere besetzte Tische leer. Ich erlebte aber unverhältnismäßig lange Wartezeiten, vor allem zu Beginn. Es dauerte etliche Minuten, bis sich eine Bedienung meldete und die Speisekarten brachte. Dann dauerte es rund 25 Minuten, bis jemand kam, meine Bestellung aufzunehmen. Während dieser Zeit konnte man die Speisekarte vier mal komplett durchlesen. Ich wählte als Vorspeise drei verschiedene Kroketten, wobei ich die mit vier verschiedenen Käse am ehesten nicht empfehlen würde, da relativ schwach im Geschmack. Die mit Pilzen und mit Fisch würde ich wieder wählen. Danach nahm ich einen frischen Fisch vom Markt, eine Dorade mit separater Beilage Pommes Frites mit Ketchup und Mayonnaise. Alternativ mögliche Beilage wäre gemischtes Gemüse gewesen. Der Fisch war makellos und wurde auf Wunsch von der Kellnerin am Tisch filetiert. Ich hatte den Fisch gegrillt gewählt, zur Auswahl stand noch in Salzkruste.

Der Fisch kam praktisch ohne alles, etwas Öl oder Butter mag dran gewesen sein. Zitronenschnitze zum draufträufeln mußte ich extra bestellen. Die Pommes waren ziemlich weich und deutlich entfernt von knusprig. Vermutlich wurden sie nicht frisch zubereitet oder nicht in Öl frittiert. Der Ketchup war überragend schmackhaft, die Mayonnaise durchschnittlich. Beides wurde nicht berechnet, obwohl ich Nachschlag bestellte. Dafür waren die Pommes mit knapp fünf Euro relativ teuer, die Portion aber groß genug, um satt zu werden. Zwar hieß es in der Speisekarte, der Preis für den Fisch richte sich nach dem Tagespreis vom Markt. Aber weshalb die Dorade mit gut 35,- Euro annähernd so teuer wie ein Hummer war, erschloss sich mir nicht, vor allem bei dieser spartanischen Zubereitung. Die Getränke, Mineralwasser und Coca Cola waren da schon gemäßigter. Das abwechslungsreiche Brot vorab mit leckerem Alloli, Oliven und Kräuterbutter wurde mit rund 4,50 Euro auch eher teuer verrechnet. So kam ich insgesamt auf knapp 54,-Euro.
