Restaurante Meza Diego — Restaurant in Seville

We walked passed in the daytime when it wasn’t open and were instantly drawn in by the warmth of Diego who was doing paperwork outside as we checked out the menu. They welcomed us in to have a look and were not pushy (huge bonus as a tourist!) we had a quick chat and promised to be back. Diego couldn’t believe we returned the next night, how could we not, we instantly felt welcome and we hadn’t seen the food yet! We had a wonderful waiter called Kalem who was very attentive, polite and always had a smile! Being from London, the prices were incredibly reasonable … €1.60 a beer, so cheap! We had potatas bravas and chicken wings which were both a huge portion and were fresh and delicious! We then got the hot stone picante steak which was INCREDIBLE! It came with sides and Kalem brought us a fresh hot stone half way through as well… a great touch. As a non regular meat eater, it went beyond expectations with taste and quality. I was jealous my partner ate more than me, I should have cooked more for myself sooner!! Kalem offered us an aperitif and we chose the local choice which we then took a picture of to buy at home. A delicious shot to end the meal! Diageo came to see us when we arrived and was happy to see us after recognising us from the previous day. The staff were so incredibly warm and friendly, we are gutted we found this on our last night of our trip as we would have definitely returned. Overall we would HIGHLY recommend this steak house over anywhere else in Seville. Staff … amazing! Food …. amazing!...

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The dishes were simply delicious. The pork taco and shrimp taco were fantastic, but the real standout was the grilled squid. It was cooked to perfection, and the sauce that came with it took the dish to an entirely new level.

For dessert, we went for the “Torrija Meza Diego XL,” and it was downright excellent. Everything came together so well—the brioche, the ice cream, the biscuit, and the cinnamon. Honestly, it's a dessert you just can’t miss (don’t count the calories on this one 💀).

The service was excellent. A huge shoutout to Izac (apologies if I’ve misspelled your name!) for taking care of us and making sure we had a great time—thanks for the free shots, Izac! 👀

The best part? It’s super affordable. Many of the dishes are reasonably priced, making it an even better experience.

All in all, this place is nearly flawless—great food, warm service, and great value.

We just arrived in Seville and got to our hotel starving. We walked about 20 minutes and it was SO worth it!! We sat outside and had fantastic service from one of the young waiters that spoke great english. The four of us had prime rib we cooked ourselves in a hot stone at the table. Delicious! And we shared the rice with cheek ( gianchali pork) and small pork ribs. It was fantastic! The owner brought a small dish of his special salsa - it was amazing! And as a treat " on the home" ( on the house ) he gave us our choice of shots. Then took photos with us. It was a great day at Meza Diego! The service was friendly and welcoming even though it seemed like we were the only tourists there. They went out of the way to make sure we had a great meal and experience! Best meal in...
