Tablafina — Restaurant in Seville

Terrible service. I don’t think it’s the fault of the waiters and waitresses serving but the fact that they’re severely understaffed for the amount of tables they have to serve on a Friday evening. We arrive and they take our drinks order, so far so good but 5 minutes later the place gets packed and suddenly the drinks take more than 10 minutes to come, oh well, maybe it’s just the influx of people all at the same time… they finally bring the drinks and we have to wait another 10 minutes to get our food order in… we order 5 dishes (tapas mostly) and it takes another good 20 minutes to bring 3 of the 5 and 1 of them is wrong (not what we ordered). We tell the waiter that the order is wrong and he apologises and says they will bring the correct one on the house. The food is only so-so, not the worst but definitely you can get better. In between dishes I ask for the wine list to order a glass and they bring the list but they never take my order, by the time they bring the remaining two dishes I am so fed up I don’t even bother with the wine, nor the desserts for that matter. We just wanted to leave as soon as possible. It’s definitely a shame because the place is in a good location with a nice atmosphere and with a little bit of effort it could be a great place but it’s clear they’re just trying to maximise the profits at the expense of the tourists. Really bad food. Everything is bland or undercooked. Cajun chicken? Can't taste anything Cajun. And the chicken is fried in the same oil as fish or seafood . So it's a little fishy but still bland. Fries are as white as an Englishman in winter. Prebaked bread rolls are just warmed a little, but still only prebaked. Inedible. Boneless ribs are a rip off: very small portion for almost 17 euro. And bland. Salt and pepper would have been an improvement. The only thing that was almost ok were the shrimp croquettes. But...a little bland. And why are they presented on a roof tile? Overpriced tasteless food. Not even...
