Galicia — Restaurant in Sitges

A stroke of luck walking and looking for dinner in the evening!

It feels like an old institution and a family restaurant! The venue is very oldl, genuine and rustic! Not much has happened here in decades! But somehow thats works at this place! The staff is very sweet and velcoming.

Tonight we chose the set daily menu! Hot starter, regular main course and it includes dessert and a drink in the form of wine, beer or sangria! 28 euros for 2 people must be considered a bargain in Sitges! This week and time the price was 14 euro på! The food arrived piping hot and it feels promising just there!

The spaghetti in tomato sauce with capris and olives tasted excellent! The fish and a breaded chicken clearly approved! I'm sure the dessert wouldn't disappoint us, but we simply couldn't make space for it, so we had to finish it off with only an espresso!

My man and I, went to this place, asked for a table and a woman there made us wait outside, we waited because he wanted to have pizza. Suddenly this woman gave a table to 3 men and said to me they had a reservation. Weird because they were also waiting for the table for 4 people that were free. We left it passed. Then again this woman gave another table, adding chairs there for another 3 people was waiting (we realized all were friends). We left because it was rude and absolutely not the right attitude. If you have a reservation they immediately give you your "reserved table with a reservation label". This was not the only place we had this kind of attitude. Sitges is a nice area but people like this bother any good impression...

Galicia is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Sitges. The food was absolutely incredible – every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. House wine was very nice with our meal, and the dessert was the perfect sweet finish. What really stood out was the service: the ladies looking after us were so kind, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, which made the evening feel extra special. On top of all that, the prices are unbeatable for Sitges. Truly amazing value for such high-quality food and warm hospitality....
