Minigolf Vinyet — Attraction in Sitges

The course is quite run down but for €6 it's really good fun and top value especially as it's 18 holes. The drinks are cheap, I think its a good activity especially for a big group.

However.....

In my 32 years, I have never been spoken to like the delightful woman at the kiosk. It was so bad I was waiting for cameras to come out as I must have been on some type of Spanish reality TV show.

I had pre booked for 19 people to play at 3pm (and incidentally spoke to a genuinely nice person on the phone about a month prior). I walked up to the front desk at 3pm on the dot and was barked at. "OUT. GET OUT, WERE NOT READY YET. GET OUT NOW". I tried to calmly explain our reservation was at 3pm but she was having none of it. As I was trying to get words out she kept shouting "NO, NO. OUT NOW, BACK IN 20".

There were table and chairs out front within the site and I enquired if we could sit there and wait. "NO. OUT ON THE STREET. GEEET OUT". So all 19 of us sat on the pavement looking into the open mini golf, on the empty plastic yet inviting table and chairs waiting for the clock to strike 3.20.

Maybe it was my face, so I got another in the party to kindly ask if we could sit inside but it was met with the same reaction.

Of course people have bad days but frankly this was inexcusable. Throughout our time there, any interaction buying drinks, paying etc was met with barking, huffing and death stares. She was the rudest most abhorrent person I've ever met. An unfortunate incident some years ago meant a chap in our group spent the night in a Thai cell and assures us the service in the cell was the Four Seasons...

We were on holiday from the UK and if there's a mini golf course nearby, you can bet we're going to have a go. This is the first time we've played on clay (probably not the place to wear your white trousers or shoes!) and liked the added challenge, especially as it had rained that morning so some of the damp patches stopped the balls dead. Loved the little stands to put your scorecard - another first for us!

At 6Euro pp it was a total bargain for 18 holes that were a good level of challenge without being too stress inducing. There were some holes in one scored, and some that went well over par.

The staff were friendly and spoke English well. It looked like the bar offering was pretty decent but we didn't partake. We did use the loo - just ask for the...

We came here on Saturday 29/06/2024 at 5pm and found the place closed. According to the hours posted by the owner on Google Maps, it should have been open from 10am to midnight. There was no sign at the entrance explaining why it was closed. Frustratingly, there is no useful link to any official website and there was no answer when we tried calling. Is this place still...
