When we came all the other reastaurants around had almost no guest…here at AlmaMia all tables were occupied. But the friendly waitress pointed out that in 10 minutes we could have a table. Within 10 minutes we were seated. Great view over the sea. Service is real good all staff is super friendly. We came to have pizza, but after we ordered we saw some other dishes being served that looked very interesting too. They serve stone-oven baked pizza made with napolitan-style dough; thin bottom and crusty crust. If you are familiar with this authentic style pizza: they make them as it should be. We had a super pizza! So good! About prices: most expensive pizza is €13.95, but before 15.30 all pizzas and pastas for €8.95!! Even after ‘pizza happy hour’ it’s still not expensive. When we paid we were surprised with a free limoncello!

Soooo….after 4 months we came to Mallorca again and were sure to visit Alma Mia again. And we did…quite some times and tried more from the menu. Realy good! Everything’s good; pastas, entrees, pizzas. Real good food for real ok prices and still super friendly staff! We come to Mallorca again in 7 months….and...

We stopped by Alma Mia Pizzeria Restaurante in Cala Bona on Wednesday evening, drawn in by the lively atmosphere and glowing reviews. Even though the place was buzzing with diners, we were seated quickly and pleasantly surprised by how efficient the service was—friendly, fast, and attentive throughout.

I went for the Mallorca pizza, and it did not disappoint. Topped with local ingredients and baked to perfection, it struck that perfect balance between a crispy base and rich, savoury toppings—one of the best pizzas I've had on the island.

Hayley opted for the carbonara, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. While the portion was generous and the pasta well-cooked, it was missing that signature depth and richness you’d hope for in a proper carbonara—no standout flavour, which was a bit of a letdown.

All in all, Alma Mia is a solid choice for pizza lovers, especially if you’re after quick, friendly service in a busy holiday town. Just maybe skip the carbonara and stick to what they do best—pizza...

Update: We have eaten here six times since we started visiting Cala Bona. The food and service we received was platinum and an much improved gluten free menu. Thank you!! 👍😉

The waiter service was outstanding. Very friendly, interested in us and they enjoyed some light banter.

The food was some of the nicest Italian food we have ever experienced and it was clear that they have some of the best chefs working for them.

The food photos I've taken should show at least how good their presentation is... you'll have to take my word on the taste and flavours.

We had 12 people in our group... all of them in agreement with this review.

The service and food for the kids was excellent and a great choice of food for the young ones!
