Restaurante La Dársena in Suances enjoys a prime location right on the beachfront, offering stunning sea views. When we visited, it was packed, a clear sign of its popularity with locals and visitors alike. Service was excellent, with attentive and efficient staff who were quick to help with any request.

The food was generally very good. My hake was perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavour, and the seafood paella was generous both in taste and in the amount of seafood — more than I’ve seen in many other places. The only slight disappointment was the zamburiñas, which were tasty but a little tough, raising the question of whether they were as fresh as the other dishes.

A good place for seafood and fish. They offer a mix of traditional and simple dishes (our favourites) and a bit more creative ones which we did not try. The service provided by Gabriel could not have been better, he was patient, fast and very kind. We recommend the muscles in sauce (great taste!), the local calamari from Suances, the tomato salad with tuna and the boquerones en vinagre (the best I’ve had). It was all freshly made. I suggest booking a table as it gets very busy. A couple of things to improve for us would be the behaviour of the tall guy who sits people (maybe he was shy but I feel at that role there is benefit in being a bit friendlier and welcoming); also the brownie which could be much better. Fuimos a comer a este restaurante del cual nos habían hablado bien de él con idea de comer una paella, éramos 6 adultos y 3 niños, previamente habíamos realizado reserva para la cual tuvimos k llamar varias veces xa modificar horario y durante las cuales la persona encargada de atender teléfono nunca nos dijo nada al respecto de tener k encargar ningún tipo de plato que quisiéramos degustar. Nuestra sorpresa fue que al llegar no tenían ni la mesa preparada pero tp nos importó xk no tardaron en montarla la mayor sorpresa fue que cuando fuimos a pedir paella para todos nos dijeron k era imposible que tenían los hornos llenos y no podían ofrecernos eso mientras veías salir a gente del restaurante con paellas gigantes para llevar, desde mi humilde opinión m parece un poco vergonzoso que se priorice antes a gente k no va a comer en el establecimiento antes que a gente k va a comer allí y a dejarse una pasta, personalmente ese detalle no m gustó nada y así se lo hice saber aunque no creo que sirva de nada para el futuro, tras varios intentos x intentar convencer que nos sacarán paella fue imposible asi que tuvimos k elegir casa uno un plato de carta y algo de picar, elegimos una rabas( estaban buenas,) zamburiñas tb y croquetas ( no sabían a nada más que a bechamel y nuez moscada) y luego rodaballos solomillos carrilleras chuletillas de lechal nuggets con patatas para los peques( todo bueno) en resumen se come bien pero el hecho de dejarnos sin paella sin previo aviso dk era necesario reservar tras llamar para hacer reserva en varias ocasiones y ver qué otras personas que no van a comer allí se las llevan fue un gesto que no nos gustó nada y que creemos que se debería tener en cuenta y priorizar al que come en el restaurante que es quien se va a dejar más dinero, dicho esto sinceramente no se si volveremos aunque quiero probar esas paellas pero muy decepcionados con lo sucedido, tb añadir que tras lo ocurrido el restaurante parece que entendió su error y al ver nuestro malestar nos invitó a los txupitos del café un detalle xo a mí personalmente me dolió mucho el hecho de dejarnos sin paella.
