Terrible…….

09 Agosto 2024

I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant before. We were at the seaside with our six-year-old, who was desperate for the toilet, so we popped into this place, thinking a family-friendly restaurant would show some basic decency. Instead, we were met with rudeness and zero compassion.

When I asked if my child could use the toilet, the staff fobbed me off with some excuse about it being someone’s first day. I don’t care whose first day it was—a six-year-old in distress isn’t something you just brush off! My poor child could barely walk, trying to hold it in, and instead of showing an ounce of kindness, their attitude was basically, “Not our problem, get out.”

I was absolutely shocked. What kind of place refuses a young child a toilet in an emergency? It’s basic human decency! The staff were rude, dismissive, and acted like we were an inconvenience. We had planned to eat there, but after that treatment, there was no chance.

A restaurant like this doesn’t deserve to be in business if it treats families this way. I wouldn’t step foot in there again, and I’d advise others to...

The menu has been reduced a lot from recent years. I used always come here for the tuna in soya and tarta buela but neither on menu any more. The staff were friendly but our starter a caprese salad was not great, the mozzarella was sliced like out of a packet. I ordered the iberian pork steak which was tough and cold, it was meant to come out with sliced garlic potatoes but instead arrived with wedges which looked like they had been frozen. I won't be coming to La valeta again, it unfortunate as it used to be a good restaurant. Finally after all that we were overcharged and I had to point this out to get bill amended. Our most expensive but least satisfactory meal on the island so far...

Avoid! The worst food in PDC. One star might seem harsh, but the grilled fish we ordered for two, turned our stomachs. Seems like the fish got out of the water a long time ago. One fish was like a.. pate and tasted like.... oh my god NOT FRESH AT ALL.

After our complaint we got a new one, but this one tasted even worse...they just did t have fresh fish! Probably because they dont have enough clients. We felt sick and leave quickly. I really regret paying the bill for this...food (stupid of me) and this makes me real angry. If u really want good food don't go here, be warned. There are enough good restaurants to...
