Dogs not allowed on the terrace! We got sent away while they were lying quietly and not in the way. Can understand inside. But outside… apparently management policy.

They said it was because of the wild cats, but with the restaurant next door it was no issue. Also, if they would have bothered to ask, we could have told them that our dogs don’t care about any cats, wild or tame. We have cats ourselves.

A better policy would be to ask or warn customers with dogs beforehand. But just blindly sending them away? Stupid.

Update after restaurant reaction: the big dog was absolutely not in the way. We especially choose a table where there was a lot of space behind us so that he wouldn’t be. And we always double check if it’s okay with people around us (due to allergies) before we sit down. Also his size was not mentioned once by the waiter that spoke to us twice more afterwards. This was never the issue. So this is a feeble, condescending attempt at trying to blame us for the situation you caused, which should never have been one to start with. If you don’t allow dogs, put up a sign. Or as suggested before, explain to your customers about the cats and come to a...

This place is a must for those visiting this area, only a short walk from the bus stop and far enough away from the hubbub of the main strip. With views over the sea and farther back harbour the sunsets are glorious. In hot day sunshades and the flow of cold drinks is must. For the evening or colder days it’s just as beautiful and the staff offer blankets to keep you warm to compliment the outside heaters. The food is lovely: plentiful and tasty. Ranging from Tapas to seafood , steak and a variety of sandwiches. There is a good selection of beer, wine or cocktails which ever you prefer. The toilets are down a flight of stairs but staff are willing to support those in need of help. One instance my friend had a fall and bruised her leg at a close by shop, staff were amazing wrapping her leg in towels of ice. In addition this spot offers the opportunity to sit and people watch or engage with fellow travellers. There are a couple of lovely local cats that enjoy the company and warmth this...

We have enjoyed two superb lunches at this beautiful restaurant situated in a perfect location looking out to sea and perched above the old harbour in Puerto del Carmen.

The food and service were exquisite with all fresh ingredients and the fish was to die for. To start we enjoyed a high quality and beautifully presented tapas selection. Which was enjoyed with delicious and excellent olive oil that was so full of flavour.

On my first visit I enjoyed a main course of freshly caught Stone Bass, which was a very meaty fish served with new potatoes and a side salad. On my return visit , my main course was a beautiful fresh turbot which was presented to the table prior to cooking. Suffice to say it was truly delicious.

This if course was enjoyed with excellent dry white wine.

In summary this is a wonderful restaurant to visit for its prominent position, amazing views, superb food, wine and great service courtesy of Xavier whom always served us...

This restaurant is positioned on a bend in the old town with spectacular views of the sea. Classy looking place and I managed to get a table outside in the sunshine. I wasn't looking for a big meal at lunch time so just something local & fishy was on my mind. I chose a canarian stew of prawns mushrooms & octopus with garlic bread, half caraff of white wine and sparkling water. I could have just sat here all day with the view and people passing by. The stew came out well presented in a sizzling pot and two toasted slices of garlic bread. It was very tasty indeed and washes down well with chilled wine. My bill was less than €25 so happy with that. My only criticism is the waiters could be friendlier with the exception of the waitress who was very friendly with all the customers.

Thought we would return to our favourite restaurant due to visiting in 2019 and really enjoying it,this Time we were very disappointed we ordered the sharing tapas for two canarian potatos food was ok but didn't seem to have much seafood on the tapas selection (sandwich fillers in shells)the waiter assured me there was seafood on the selection, waiter was not attentive seemed unwelcoming and didn't ask if our food was ok,and didn't check if we needed more drinks had to ask and get the waiters attention, waited a while for drinks to come to our table (sangria)such a shame our experience wasn't a good one this time as we loved this restaurant in 2019 and the views of the sea are amazing, the restaurant wasn't busy either and seemed to have spanish customers in there.
