Mortified! The “cocktail” they gave us was undrinkable and when questioned we were threatened by them getting the police even after we offered to still pay and not consuming it! Total disaster of a venue!!!
Just to reply to their reply - Yes, it was me and thats not what happened. To clarify there were just two of us not a "whole family" and "friends" - I went to the restroom while my partner ordered drinks. When I came out, (also no one was waiting at the door of the restroom) 2 Margaritas were brought down to our table. I took a sip and nearly puked! When I went up to the counter with two, still FULL drinks and explained they were not nice and we were unable to drink them. I also explained I have worked in cocktail bars for over 17yrs. I asked your bartender what he used to make them and he admitted he didnt use any orange base spirit and had in fact poured salt INTO the drink, not just the rim. When I said that wasnt right he replied "well this is how they are made in Lanzarote".... They were undrinkable so I said we were not paying for them as we did not drink them and they were disgusting. Then a senior woman chimed in and said if we dont pay she would call the police which made me very upset at the outrageous agro towards a customer and that you couldnt accept your drinks were bad. To calm the matter my partner agreed to pay...
Read moreGreat little place with great food and drinks prices. Wife and I fancied a night away from the loudness and found this little gem. All cocktails are 6euro, so started off with an Aperol Spritz and a Margarita. Margarita was nice and limey, the way I like it. Aperol was declared fine too, if a little different, by my wife! Their specials board had plenty of choices at very reasonable prices. I decided to have the fish and chips, served with salad, (I declined), and tartar sauce, at 9.99euro and my wife had the gyoza dumplings. (7.95e I think). Was served 2 good size fish fillets in a delicious light and crispy batter. Really enjoyed this with a very nice tartar sauce. Chips were nice and crispy too, though not hand cut, but decent. Large vinegar container was on hand with salt, pepper and tooth picks too. Gyozos were of good quality and very tasty. Food was washed down with Viña Sol, (bottle is 14e or 7.95e for half bottle). Have to mention the waiting staff here, who were very pleasant and chatty throughout, good people! Want to also add, the igic local tax is included in their prices, unlike a lot of establishments in Puerto Del Carmen, who sneak it in, on top of your bill, at the end. This shows respect to their customers, by not following this illegal practice. Well done Palm Bay, you will be...

Let’s talk about the great attention, though. Have you ever felt like royalty without the burdens of actually managing a kingdom? That’s the level of service here. Each staff member approached us with a dedication that made me think we were long-lost friends, and they'd just found us after years of searching. The sincerity in their smiles was so genuine, I considered asking for dental advice.
Dining in front of the sea at Palm Bay wasn’t just a meal; it was an immersive experience where every bite was flavored with the essence of joy and every glance at the ocean reminded you that life, like the horizon, is full of endless possibilities.
In conclusion, if laughter, impeccable service, and panoramic views of the ocean had a lovechild, it would be named Palm Bay. A visit here guarantees not just a feast for your taste buds but a full-blown carnival for your soul.
