I ordered a mocktail (non-alcoholic), and they served me a drink with alcohol, even though I don’t drink at all. They only told me five minutes later, after I had already started drinking. Completely unacceptable.

Now let’s talk about the name “Africa” and the so-called themed decor... Monkeys, snakes, animals everywhere — is that your vision of Africa? Racist, reductive clichés. I was genuinely shocked. Honestly, you should’ve just called the place “Safari” at this point. There's nothing related to Africa there, not even the music

As for the service? Not great. They served nachos on paper, with melted cheese that hardens and sticks so you end up eating paper. And the “extra” guacamole? Nearly €2 for a tiny spoonful, no commercial gesture not even after pointing out they gave me alcohol

Worst experience in LZ ever! Don’t bother...

Great bar. Set off the main road with access via a set off stairs into the bar. Surprisingly large with loads of seats. Pool table. And large bar where people can sit. Football is also shown on numerous screens. Food is available but I have not tried. Drinks are extremely well priced and table service is available from friendly bar staff. But the main plus for the bar is the live music. The two guitarists are exceptional. And do their own spin on numerous favourites. With requests given. They really are pretty amazing and should be seen if your in the area. I can’t think of a better place to relax at the end of the day, with a few beers while listening to quality music in a friendly...

I wish I could give more stars, this place is so hidden and underrated and i wish i took more pictures. The food and cocktails are the best on the puerto del carmen strip. Fantastic decor and serious good music. All of these things are only second to the bar and kitchen staff. The lady who served us was super friendly, attentive and whipped up the best cocktails I've ever had. The chef discovered our love of spice by what we ordered, and felt he should only go and make everything saucier and spicier, with all of their own homemade sauces and ensured we were happy with our dishes. Absolutely 20/10 on customer service, food and being legends. Class spot, we will definitely be back...
