Bar Los Tinajones — Restaurant in Talavera de la Reina

We arrived to get food and they had 12 dining tables free near the door, with the only one taken up by what seemed like employees doing some bookkeeping thing. Despite us telling the waitress we wanted food, she refused to let us sit there and ushered us to a table beside the toilet, in the middle of a group of noisy football fans. We asked for the food menu and she said she'd bring it, but didn't. After 15 minutes of waiting I had to go to the bar to ask for it. We then spent another 10 minutes being ignored and having no one come to take our order before we got sick of it and left to get food elsewhere.

EDIT: Rather than accepting the problem, in his reply the owner chooses to argue about how many empty tables there were in a nearly completely empty dining room. And no, as it was 20:30 at night, the people with the computer weren't there for lunch, unless it was the longest lunch ever. That the people sitting there weren't employees makes it worse, why let them sit there not eating when we were there to eat? Why not let us sit there? Why not bring us the food menu we asked for instead of forgetting about us and me having to go to the bar to ask for it 15 minutes later? Why, even after giving us the menu, forget about us again? 25 minutes after arriving no one had taken an order? Usually I feel bad about leaving negative reviews but in this case the bad service and awful attitude means I'm sorry I can't leave less...

Había estado en ocasiones a tomar algo en el bar mientras esperábamos a mi hijo que vivía en un piso encima del bar. Ahora que se cambió de piso nos decidimos a ir a comer al bar los tinajeros,porque nos gustó el tapeo y el trato que hemos recibido cuando íbamos. A sido un acierto ir a comer allí. Fuimos mi hijo,mi marido y yo. Pedimos tres menús,mi hijo unas migas,pollo al horno y natillas caseras. Mi marido,primero carrilla,pollo al horno y café. Yo pedí carrilla,mollejas en salsa y natillas caseras y de beber decidimos agua,pero teníamos opción a vino y casera. Antes de servirnos el menú nos tomamos unos refrescos y unas cervezas. No conocíamos las carrillas y estaban deliciosas,las migas y los demás platos estaban para repetir y como no las natillas suaves,gremosas estaban deliciosas y todo ello por poco más de 40€ Sin duda para repetir y muy recomendable para aquellos que le interesen. Vine dos veces a este lugar y fueron suficientes para saber a qué lugar no iba a volver a ir. Trato muy desagradable y antipático (hasta por teléfono). Sin televisión en la terraza (bueno, miento; la tienen pero parece ser que no la quieren encender ni aún los clientes preguntando por ella). Preguntas algo al camarero/a de turno y parece que te está perdonando la vida. Estás ahí en el bar y parece que molestas, parece que te están haciendo un favor. La verdad es que su comportamiento no habla muy bien de ellos ni como camareros ni como personas (no todos; de hecho, solo uno/a).
