BoccaBuena Puerto — Restaurant in Tarifa

It seems the place tries to consider itself to be a more fancier but it definitely isn't.

Positive: The digestif at the end was pleasant. The place itself looks beautiful. The hors d'oeuvres were tasty. Of course noone spoke English so I have no idea what did we eat.

Negative: Noone welcomed while entering- just stood there and watched. (4 waiters).- Arrogant waiters.

1 waiter rudely after we asked the food menu: ,,I only do drink orders" and left us. Later: ,,I don't know if we have drink menus." -?! Wow.

Next waiter while drinking the water had the most serious and angriest face.

Impossible to get contact to waiters even though there weren't lots of people and they were passing by.

They are sitting IN the restaurant during worktime.

They have never heard of etiquette: They throw the plates and glasses randomly on the table. - They serve food plate to your hand.- They forget your order even though not many people there.- They keep one plate for all courses. Dessert is brought to the table before any meat dishes are taken away (not a big fan of ice cream when a big bone of meat is under my nose). Paella was SUPER SALTY! The tasty things in the dish were asparagus and scallops.

They keep the wine behind the guests so there are times guests have to stand up if they need anything.

Not enviromental friendly place. They're using plastic straws which is actually illegal in EU since 3 July 2021.

,,We don't offer tap water." Law says they are obligated to offer free tap water when they serve any alcohol since 10 April 2022.

Summary: For these prices the service was horrible.There is a separate line they add to bill for the service but....It's such a shame for wasting money there. WIth this expensive menu they should at least smile and be polite to customers, know their menu and place from A to Z and serve...

A bijou, owner-run establishment that offers a range of excellent food suited to all tastes and which is good for anything from a light lunch to a hearty evening meal.

They had added a range of tapas to their specials board for our latest lunchtime visit. The friendly owners were happy to keep bringing out to our group of six, a variety of tasty morsels until the point we were full. Given we all had a few beers too, our surprise at having a bill of only €12 each should give you an idea of the value for money here too.

Delicious (veggie) hamburgers - A great little restaurant on a nice "plaza", and at night there's just a nice and vibrant atmosphere. The waiters attending the tables are very courteous, friendy and helpful to find your choice on the menu. Our daughters loved their hamburgers: one veggie and a regular one! Tried a piece of both and acknowledged their judgement. A nice evening we had as a family at the restaurant. And not to forget: a special thank you to, Barbara, our waitress, who's just a great at make customers feel happy! Gracias a todo el equipo de...
