I liked this place but it didnt quite hit home with me unfortunately, and I think it is more of a taste preference. I think their ingredients are fresh and we definitely enjoyed the cuttlefish rice dish that was recommended to us as it was flavourful. However I felt that it was just a little too salty to eat more than a small portion and I just felt very thirsty afterwards for several hours. The mussels were again fresh, but I think they need to be a lot more creative about the sauce in which it is prepped. We chose the lemon sauce since i dont recall the other two options being smt we were interested in (one other was celery sauce??) and I think the taste of the fresh mussels did not reach their potential.

We went with 2 young toddlers, having tasty seafood paella, angelhair cooked in yummy sauce (very thoughtful of the kitchen to cut the pasta and to avoid any seafood as my young one is allergic), fried small fish and deep fried small octopus. They don't speak much English but the lady took her time to explain the best she could in a mixture of catalan and English of what was on the menu, and provided good recommendation. After visiting Barcelona, this appeared to be our best meal and the best service, so far.

Service 2/5. We waited 20 minutes for the order to be accepted, then we constantly had to catch the waiter, which, by the way, is quite a lot. Menu only on catalan. The design is 3/5. It looks like they did, in their opinion, a designer renovation on their own 30 years ago. The food is 4.5/5. No complaints or comments, everything is very high quality and delicious. But it's not interesting, everything is simple and without author's ideas.

The service was good - really friendly staff! The food was incredibly disappointing and bland. Everything was overly salty so as to hide the taste of the meal. The mussels were abysmal (felt like you could get a better meal at any restaurant on the side of the road), the spaghetti with clams was truly terrible they didn’t clean the clams properly of debris and it felt like you were eating spaghetti with little rocks. Everything else was barely edible the prawns were so bland (with “garlic sauce”) One terrible dish after the other. We tried about 10 dishes none of them were good let alone impressive.
