Xiulet — Restaurant in Tarragona

A true taste of Tarragona for a bargain price. We enjoyed a 3 course lunch with wine for 14 euros! English not spoken by staff but they were exceptionally friendly and we got by. Especially when we realised there was an English translation to the menu. Made us all laugh. Lots of locals in but still fairly quiet on a Tuesday lunch. Food good quality and lots of choices. Galician pork shoulder, followed by steak and peppercorn sauce, then traditional cheesecake. For 14 euros with a carafe of easy drinking...

Had Catalan sausage here. Loved the food! The sausage was full of taste, very savory, potatoes were super soft on the inside. The meal portion was big, even for me, and I usually eat a lot, so it might not be for everyone

Kitchen here closes at 4 pm, so I didn't get a chance to eat the first time I came here

Staff is nice, but don't speak English, but this wasn't a big issue for me, you can just point at the menu item :D

A real gem in Tarragona.

The server didn’t speak English but worked with the little Spanish we knew and was very gracious in cutting us slack. We called in advance and the table was ready when we arrived.
