We were "welcomed" by someone obviously not happy to see a group of international guests coming into his restaurant. Then when we asked to split the bill, it was also a problem, as if it was news, in a place mainly visited by internationals, that people split bills in most countries. We could have tried to be flexible, but then realized that they had added 6 glasses of wine and 2 beers to the bill, probably a common scam on big enough bills, and they literally refused to give us a new bill, forced us to manually recalculate taxes ourselves, and still complained about the time it was taking for them to deal with us! Ridiculous! When we were done recalculating, they refused again to split (which they had agreed to in the meantime) and dared telling us it was a shame when we mentioned they said yes before. All of this with extremely bad attitude, in words and head shaking etc. Rude. I can understand culturally people don't split bills in Spain, but it literally costs nothing for them, it's an easy thing to do and that's done all over the world, and again, with the right attitude, we could have discussed. People like that put a shame on the industry. Thieves at level zero of customer service....

I ordered a tostada like all the Spaniards around me, but he insisted on selling me a sandwich because I’m a tourist and they could charge more for the sandwich. Therefore really angry and won’t return. I would probably have stopped here every day over the next 2 weeks, so now they have lost this custom and the tips. It will be the same next year and the following year etc. Back to the very brilliant El Chiringuito next door for me, where I have eaten every year for the...
Read moreSuprisingly It was a very busy place maybe because only two places in village open by the time, as the food was quite unpleasant. The pulpo was chewy, and the fish soup lacked flavor. Additionally, the attitude of the owner or the waitress was disappointing; I felt unwelcome from the very first moment.
I would simply suggest staying away from this place. There are plenty of other restaurants where you can eat much better, at a lower price, and feel much more welcome. PS. Left food on table, finish...
