Me da pena poner esta reseña pero si le pongo el 2 y no el 1 es porque los camareros y el servicio fueron super amables y las vistas de la terraza son geniales, pero todo lo demás, un desastre. Pedimos una ensalada Sol de entrante que parecía que quien la preparo no tenía cuchillo, venían todos los ingredientes cortados enormes y tuvimos que cortarlo todo nosotros, además, relación calidad precio muy mala. Después pedimos queso fresco de cabra a la plancha, estaba frío, apenas pasado por la plancha, totalmente insípido, no sabía absolutamente a nada. Si nos dicen que es tofu, nos lo creemos. Después unas papas arrugadas, estaban decentes, lo único que se salvaba. Sus mojos decentes también. Como plato principal pedimos un calamar sahariano a la plancha. Calidad precio regular pero encima venía duro hasta el punto de hacerlo incomestible, pasadisimo. Lo dijimos al camarero y nos lo cambio por otro. Estaba mejor pero igualmente no a la altura del precio, un calamar muy normal de sabor y textura. Además al cambiarlo se llevaron parte de la guarnición que no volvieron a poner. Después de esto pedimos tarta de queso de postre, era un auténtico mazacote sin sabor ninguno a queso. Pero lo peor vino luego, ya con todo terminado mi chica fue al baño mientras venía la cuenta y se encontró una cucaracha en el. Con toda discreción se lo dijimos al camarero y su respuesta nos dejó totalmente descolocados, dijo textualmente "es algo inevitable, pero intentamos que no salgan de cocina para que los clientes no las vean" Aún sigo en shock con esa respuesta. Aunque nos invitaron al postre por lo ocurrido no puedo recomendar a nadie ir a este sitio. No os dejéis engañar por la estética de las fotos, los sabores brillaban por su ausencia.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. They don't have physical menu - you have to scan the QR code from the table to display it on your phone. I felt I was rushed to make my order by one of the waiters who was making jokes all the time. He also pat my shoulder every time he was talking to me - I found that intrusive. I ordered parrot fish and it was fresh and tasty. But it looked like they don't put much effort into side salat. The prices are relitevly high in my opinion.

Onbewust met vier personen bij restaurant Sol terecht gekomen. Beetje rondrijden en hier gaan we lunchen. Eenvoudig oogend restaurant aan een klein strandje met plaatsen in de zon maar ook onder een enorme parasol. Lokatie al een 10 waard. Uiterst gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen waarna we een tafel onder de parasol uitkozen. Toen we aangaven dat we wilde eten werd uitgebreid de mogelijkheden verteld van de maaltijden die deze dag aangeboden werden. Ik kon geen keuze maken, daarom heb ik de ober gevraagd om een schaal ( voor vier personen) met gegrilde vissen voor ons samen te stellen met wat salade en zo. Een prachtige, zeer goed gevulde schaal met diverse vissen werd een poos later opgediend met ook nog salade en kleine in de schil gekookte jonge aardappeltje. Alle biverse vissoorten werden vermeld waarna ons een smakelijk eten werd gewenst. De vis was enorm goed klaargemaakt en wij hebben ook allemaal ons tegoed gedaan aan de heerlijke vis en bijgerechten. Dit restaurant is een pareltje op het eiland Lanzarote als je van eerlijke en heerlijke vis wilt genieten en waar je nog als een gewaardeerde gast wordt ontvangen. Nadien nog genoten van een goede expresso en de rekening betaald. Prijs kwaliteit is daar zeker in orde. Voor vis liefhebbers die op een leuke rustieke plek willen eten is dit een echte must. (Graag niet iedereen tegelijk,.......dat blijft en een geweldige plek).

Worst experience at Lanzarotte. We had spent a few weeks with beautiful experiences across the island but this one was unacceptable. The waiter was extremely rude from the start, slamming our drinks down on the table. The food was brought out at all different times and when we were done eating it was as if they wanted to usher us out. The waiter demanded my wife pass him the glasses when attempting to clear the table and even chased down my mother-in-law and wife out the restaurant assuming we weren’t going to pay. He got in my face and threatened me when I told him that my father-in-law was inside paying the tab. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting - it was totally unacceptable for any dining experience. Beautiful place nice food but.... be careful.... the will charge you more then you eat. SO REALLY WATCH OUT FOR YOU BILLS First they were careless about the service and cheeky. We ordered catch of the day: 2 big plates of fish to serve 3 people. They were 6 of us. We had a bill for 163 € so we all left 55 € for 3 pair. Left the bill on the table and left the restaurant. One waiter went after us for extra 10€ beacause we didn't left enough WHAT??!!. So I would call them thiefs beacause 55x 3= 165€. We did gave them what he asked for beacause we didn't want to cause issues but we all feel deceived...

I am an Italian Chef!Do not come here, the fish is not bad, but not well presented and cook,too expensive for what it is,the waiter was really rude, especially the one with long gray hair, a part this during the lunch it falls a huge amount of water in our head an table from the umbrella not clean before, i said to the waiter and he just looked at me , without any apology, i will definitely never back! i think the owner is not there , because i did'nt let sit a lot of people even if they were not busy at all!
