La Hamburgueseria — Restaurant in Teguise

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing. Out of the wide selection on the menu, we tried a few dishes, and none of them met our expectations. The quality of the food and ingredients was very poor.

Even the classic dishes, such as the Caesar salad, were executed with major deviations from the traditional recipe: instead of chicken fillet — there was schnitzel, and instead of the usual ingredients — candied fruits, walnuts, cashews, raisins, orange slices, and a questionable quality sauce. Fresh vegetables were completely absent. It felt more like a random mix of kitchen leftovers than a recognizable dish.

Seafood, which should be a highlight in any reputable restaurant, was equally disappointing. The octopus was flavorless and rubbery, indicating either poor freshness or improper preparation.

The highest rating I can give this place is 3 out of 5, and that’s only in comparison to what’s available in the area. We’ve had much better, fresher, and tastier meals elsewhere. In fact, this deserves no more than a 1. I sincerely hope the restaurant reconsiders its approach to...

Honestly food was pretty much what I cook when I’m hangover and/or desperate. The French fries looked like I woke them up in the middle of the night: So pale and floppy. The red wine was colder than the friends of my ex when she told them we were back together. The hamburger was a party where everyone was forced to come: the cheese didn’t melt in, the sauce rain checked, the tomato was out of place. Urige "Kneipe" mit leckeren Gerichten. In einer kleinen Nebenstr. gelegen. Reichlich Parkplätze in 20 Meter Entfernung. Man kann auf der Straße sitzen, in einer Art lauschigem Vorgarten oder "neben" dem Koch im Restaurant. Alles in dem sog. Shabby Chic gehalten. Ich finde es urgemütlich. Alles ist ehe so ländlich sittlich mit Hinterhof Charme und da liegt die Stärke des Unternehmens. Man traut ihnen erst nichts zu und wird dann angenehm überrascht. Besonders was die eher sehr günstigen Preise anbetrifft. Mein Lieblingsessen (kalter Pulpo Salat) in bester Quali. Update: Mai 2023. Nichts hat sich zum Negativen geändert. Nach wie vor zu empfehlen. Ein Wehrmutstropfen für mich, den kalten Tintenfischsalat hat man von der Karte gestrichen. Es gibt ihne jetzt warm und der schmeckt sehr lecker, aber ich ziehe ihn kalt vor. Eine neue Kellnerin hat man auch und die junge Dame macht ihren Job richtig gut. Update Dezember 2023. Da ist offenbar in der Restaurantleitung passiert oder in der Küche. 2 essen wurden lauwarm serviert meine Paella war unter der oberen Schicht Reis eiskalt . Aber was ich als eine richtige Unverschämtheit empfand. Der Koch fand es offenbar witzig mir den Kopf einer Garnele auf die Paella zu legen. Wohlgemerkt NUR den Kopf. Das Teil des Tieres also, dass im Grunde der Abfall ist. Das Gericht ist mit unter 10 Euro günstig, aber entweder lege ich dann nur eine Garnele drauf oder keine, aber den Abfall vom Tier ist einfach unmöglich. Ob ich dort noch einmal essen werde...
