Gracias...

We choose this restaurant for it's terrace, views and of course the menu. Once seated the waitress who attended us was very friendly. Ordering drinks we were told they had no lemons! Whilst ordering the food we were told they had no additional sauces as stated on the menu and no spanish omelette. The food was bland, vegetables swimming in oil. My daughter ordered meatballs What a joke!! I can make better meatballs myself. It was served up looking like a plate of dogs food. All the meatballs had disintegrated and the sauce was a spaghetti Bolognese sauce. After complaining to the waitress who then turnt very rude, stating this is how it is served. I kindly asked her to taste the meatballs or at least the chef before serving it to other customers. The kindly removed the charge of the meatballs from the bill....

El Labrador Restaurant in Tejeda, Gran Canaria, is excellently located right in the heart of the village, with stunning views over the mountains. I had already eaten lunch elsewhere, but I made a technical stop just to enjoy the scenery and a delicious barraquito — a traditional Canarian layered coffee with condensed milk, espresso, Licor 43, frothed milk, lemon zest, and cinnamon. Watching the clouds form and roll along the edge of the mountains from their terrace was truly unique. The service at the restaurant was also fantastic, making the whole experience even more memorable. Highly recommended if you’re...

Beautiful restaurant in a delightful mountainous setting with stunning views in this charming village. Large terrace or indoor dining. This restaurant serves traditional Canarian cuisine with their famous potatoes, salads and paella’s Excellent service with choice of wines. Was fascinated to see pictures of Ernest Hemingway with Spencer Tracy on the walls from Havana there must be a link. It can be windy on the mountain so take a jumper or jacket

One to avoid this. We got ignored by the staff. It was so obvious that they didn’t want to serve us because we said we’d just stopped by for drinks. We had to leave. There are ample other good restaurants in the town, you just happen to find this one first of heading into town from the north and it’s fabulous views draw you in. Continue past it to find so many other better bars and restaurants.
