The location is great and our waitress was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, when we ordered one set menu and one dish from the general menu, she made a mistake and assumed we wanted 2 menus. We said that we didn't want a second menu. The food arrived soon and the migas (a local dish) were quite dry and a small portion for the price but we ate them. As we were finishing the first course, I saw other dishes from the main menu and they were bigger and better presented so I asked a waiter who confirmed they were a smaller portion and rudely told me it had nothing to do with him. When we asked for the bill, they had charged the price for the bigger portion. We explained that this wasn't acceptable given that the mistake wasn't ours. The rude waiter told us we should have said something straight away... in other words, we should know the correct portion sizes in a restaurant we had never visited before. He admitted that the waitress had made a mistake but left us to pay for it anyway. A small gesture of good will such as not charging for one of the drinks would have made such a difference but no, we had to...

Stopped by for a beer which was served but after finishing we asked for the bill. We waited as we are accustom to a slower pace but nothing came. We asked again and nothing so seeing the waiter ignoring us and offering other tables the bill we approached the bar so get our bill. My wife asked the barman (we speak good Spanish so no communication issues) he ignored us too so she simply asked if he wanted us to pay before we left and he begrudgingly gave it. 5 60 for 2 cañas! Well let's say over 18 years living in Spain this was the worst.

Una experiencia lamentable que no recomendamos.

Nuestra visita al restaurante fue, sin duda, un desastre digno de un capítulo de “Pesadilla en la cocina”.

Llegamos a las 14:00 horas el 30 de diciembre, incluso antes de nuestra reserva, con la intención de facilitarles el servicio. Pedimos varios menús y algún entrante, pero la espera fue interminable. A las 15:00 horas, aún no habíamos recibido ni un solo plato, y no fue hasta las 15:45 que llegaron dos entrantes. Finalmente, a las 16:00 horas (dos horas después de nuestra llegada), sirvieron los primeros platos, que además de llegar fríos, no se correspondían con lo prometido en la carta. Por ejemplo, el supuesto morro y chorizo de Teruel con alubias brillaron por su ausencia.

Con hambre y temiendo que la espera se alargara aún más, decidimos comerlos tal como estaban. A las 16:30 horas, para nuestra sorpresa, nos sirvieron unas “olivas para abrir el apetito”, como si no hubiésemos estado esperando ya horas. Los segundos platos llegaron a las 16:40, y varios de ellos estaban fríos, e incluso tuvimos que devolver dos porque estaban literalmente congelados.

Cuando llegó el momento del postre, nos informaron de que no quedaba nada disponible, algo comprensible dado que para entonces éramos los únicos clientes en el local. Al pedir los cafés, la actitud de la camarera fue francamente desagradable, mostrando desdén al indicarnos que no sabía qué café correspondía a cada uno y negándose a ayudarnos con el pedido faltante.

Por si esto no fuera suficiente, al momento de discutir la cuenta (porque no considerábamos justo pagar el precio completo por una experiencia tan deficiente), un datáfono explotó, inundando el local de humo.

Y ya para cerrar apetito, nos piden poner una reseña positiva para que así los camareros reciban beneficio económico de ello. Juzguen...
