We’ve been coming here for years, and what we first thought were teething issues have never improved. It’s such a shame, as the location is great, close to the beach with a lovely shaded terrace.
But the service is consistently poor and extremly slow. As a former café manager, I find the lack of organisation very frustrating. On our last visit, we waited 35 minutes for a menu and another 30 for 2 simple coffees, despite trying to get the waitress’s attention several times. This kind of delay has become a running joke among our local friends and never seems to improve. I really don't mind a "slower" pace but some of us have to go to work at some point ! Orders often come out wrong or out of sequence with tables arriving later being served first etc, and it’s the same in winter and summer, busy or not. Staff seem to do "one trip per order " without actually checking if anyone needs to place an order, pay their bill or their tables cleared. The place is also on the pricey side, even for Moraira, which would be fine if the service matched.
The food and drinks are actually good, but the experience just doesn’t live up to the potential. Maybe a smaller menu and better staff training could help ? We’d love to make it our go-to café and support a local business but it’s just too frustrating...
Read moreWe have been here a few times now and will definitely come back again. They have lots of gluten free options, and what's more the gluten free bread is delicious and has the best texture unlike some other gluten free breads I have had. I usually go for the Masha sandwich and a latte, and I can honestly say it is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The latte is also amazing. Great atmosphere and service and very beautiful decor. They also sell some lovely items inside the shop like dresses and cardigans etc all very unique and well priced. So glad we found this place, would highly recommend. The sandwiches are a bit on the pricey side and the gluten free option makes it more expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for and it is...
