Indian Ocean Carihuela - Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Torremolinos

Unfortunately in Europe I am running into a lot of ratings that are just not right. They have a drink special at lunch you'll see the picture of the drink in the menu and then the picture of the drink special you get are very different they don't put the same ingredients in it I had a mai tai and it was not a Mai Tai. And the glass is smaller the servings are quite small but it was enough for us and the meat quality was good as well as the sauces. I was not a fan of the butter garlic naan you couldn't tell there was any garlic on it and you could see the bits but it had no garlic flavor and there was no trace of any butter. But otherwise the bread was good. The calamari was terrible in fact I'm not even sure it was real calamari inside I took all the breading off which I've never had on calamari and I still couldn't tell if it was real or not. All 5 star rating! We found this absolute gem of an indian restaurant as my dad fancied indian food! The food was delicious and I fancied paneer pakora and Nishan got the chef to make them even though they were not on the menu! The customer service was excellent in particular Nishan he was very attentive and welcoming and made sure we were looked after! We definitely will be back and recommend to everyone in that area - really tasty indian food!

Great indian cuisine and fantastic friendly service at reasonable prices with ocean views. We thought this place was amazing. We visited them twice during a 6-day stay in the area. Just be forewarned that if you order a spice level of "hot", it's REALLY hot. Their "medium" is approximately equal to "hot" at most curry houses. Yet overall, it was simply great.

Their appetizers (we had pappadams and samosas) were as good as any on the planet. We had a Madras one night (which is when we learned not to order "hot") and a Tikka Masala on the second visit. Very pleasant dining experience on both occasions.
