It was ok...room was nice but with a really very very strong smell of Air freshner in the room which made impossible to sleep comfortable as it irritated my throat. Although I paid for the week 8 days which was non refundable I only stayed two nights they still charged me 15 Euros for the safe and I would of thought they would of been a little gracious and refund something due to the circumstances as I had to leave because my Mother is ill and yet no offer of any refund and still they charged me 15 Euros for the safe and then I realised I got no receipt for the safe but due to my Mother being unwell I forgot to ask forthe receipt. The hotel have two cups and saucers in the room but no kettle...very strange and no.ingormation to say if a kettle is available or not. For other people I would use a website booking whereby some payment is refundable. Nobody seemed interesyed to adk we we had to check out early so I told them my Mother was ill. I am back in Spain now in another Hotel as all is ok and staying simewhere called El Pozo where the staff are excellent. Sorry only one stars for this hotel due to fact i only stayed two nights out of 8 and no partial refund and expected to pay for safe too and I expext did not go through the books or till. Poor service...maybe ifthey read this they might refund something and learn from...

I paid extra for a balcony directly overlooking the sea, but it rained every day and with little or no sun. This is, of course, completely beyond the control of the hotel !|All the staff were superb. From the reception staff up to the cleaners.|If you ask for things such as kettle in room, extra pillows or blankets they very happily and quickly provide them.|On one of the Saturdays I was staying the lift broke down. As I am elderly and a bit immobile I could not get down the steep stairs that had no banister. [There was a suggestion that one will be fitted for the use of future guests]. That day they asked me what I would like to eat and brought it up to me. Then the news came that it could not be fixed until the middle of the next week. The staff were marvellous and did all they could to ameliorate the situation. They arranged for me to move to their sister hotel [where, actually, I have stayed before] and helped me down the stairs. There I was given a room with, if not a sea view it was a large sea glimpse.|On the Tuesday came a message that the lift was repaired and I could move back if I wanted.|All was well...

The hotel is dual aspect, with rooms facing both towards the city and the Mediterranean! Rooms are small, but clean and tidy, and the bathroom has a mini bath with a shower head. If your not needing 3-5☆, this 2☆ Hotel is ideal, in the middle of the busy Carihuela pedestrian streets with loads of restaurants, serving local and most other cuisines! Riddled with bars, it's a busy Calle! Out the front you have the Playa and the beach, with options of buying sunbeds & parasols from €4 eh per day or just use your sand matts and towels on the beach. I have stayed in far more luxurious hotels but i was happy with the Medierraneo, and the main receptionist Louis, who was a brilliant host, he helped us with every querie and was a real help with arranging our transfer back to Malaga airport as taxis can't collect from the front of the hotel, but Louis arranged for collection from the closest calls to the Hotel! Well...
