LA BODEGA — Restaurant in Torremolinos

Party of 12 friends visited after an ex pat recommendation but what a disaster. Got us seated together and took drinks order which came quickly. All good to that point. Began taking food orders and only then decided to tell us that virtually half the menu was not available bit by bit. Some had 4 choices denied because “it was done”. The food that came was just plonked on the table for us to work out what it was and who had ordered it. One lad got his main delivered 30 seconds after his starter! In the end 4 of us had nothing other than the bread due to the lack of food options. What they should have done is inform us before seating us and they would have avoided the disappointment and this poor review. Maybe OK for a couple but nothing larger and ask about the menu options before sitting down. The food that came was OK but...

I used to come here a lot with my family, but from today that's going to change, service is amazing, no complaints about that, quality still good, but quantity??? The menu shows you full round plates and they serve you small squared shape plates with half of the portion you can see at the menu, we just told to one of our servers that we believed portions are really small comparing with other times we have been there and he said he would speak with his manager, no one came to explain the reasons. If I never would have been there before, I would just thing they serve small portions, but knowing it from before, it is a shame, you can find better portions for the same price at the beach. And last, I just believe that if you gonna pay those prices for those portions, plates should not be broken! Health and...

This used to be my favourite Restaurant in Torremolinos both food and service was excellent before. But I am sooo disappointed now. We had a waiter I beluwve totally drunk, he took approx 15 mibs to take oue order, then he asked where were we from and when we said Hungary he looked at us with an anger and told us if we are suppirters if Orban(prime minister of Hungary) we shall leave as he will not serve us. Now, i cannot stand Orban but this is an unacceptable behaviour in a Restaurant specially from a waiter. After this intermezzo he served us the main course first as he forgot the starter, so we ate the cold starter after the hot octopus.
