MACHA MOCHI — Restaurant in Torremolinos

I was highly disappointed with our experience. We had a reservation and when we arrived there wasn’t anybody else there.

We ordered and dishes came at different times. Some took 25 minutes while others took 50 minutes to arrive to the table. Waiter totally forgot of our table. Didn’t return to pick up plates etc..

They were paying more attention to people that were there for pick up than people sitting in the restaurant. We ordered bubble tea and it took them over an hour to bring them all out. We asked for the dessert menu and told us to go to the display window where they have them and choose what we wanted. When we do so, the person at the counter tell us that he is dealing with a lot and asked as to return to return to our table.

When they brought the bubble tea to the table the spilled it all over us. We literally arrived at the restaurant at 2pm and left at 5:30pm.

Their food is just ok. We ordered a bit of everything: ramen, hot pot, crepes etc… it wasn’t bad but it needed for flavor. It had no intensity at all. Their cakes are amazing and the bubble tea is...

Best bubble tea in Torremolinos! If you are a bubble tea lover on holiday or you live nearby then give it a try :) The only thing I would say is the tapioca pearls didn't taste like they were in sugar syrup for long enough, but the texture and the drinks were all perfectly balanced! They have a large menu, even offering savoury food options, cakes, soju. I believe this may be a new shop but I see it getting alot more business once the weather gets warmer and word gets around, I suggest the shop owners create an Instagram and TikTok account to help with this. We tried the Litchi Melocoton with boba, the fruit flavour and tea were perfectly balanced and had lovely fruit bits! The Cocomango was nice and creamy but not overly rich. I am so sorry but what a disappointing experience. It took them more than 1 hour to serve our first dish (of 2). The second one came 15/20 min later when we are already done with everything else. Aside from the absolute lack of organization in service, the food quality was just mediocre and did not taste fresh, but we loved the bubble tea. The staff was overall nice but they seemed really overwhelmed. They were clearly trying to take on more people than what they have capacity for. We are sad it ended like this but maybe we will give another try in the future just for bubble tea...
