Restaurante Tango Asador — Restaurant in Torremolinos

Partner needs Gluten Free food, and initially, we went to Burger King to try the novelty of a GF burger which we don't get in the UK, only to find they had sold out 🫣

Walking back towards out hotel, this was the first eatery we saw, and we asked if they had a GF option on the menu. Initially, they said they didn't, but that they could do chicken and salad with some fries. Checked the oil woud be ok and chef confirmed yes - just fries done in that oil.

Absolutely lovely meal - chicken, salad and chips. Shame we didn't take a photo, as food looked as good as it tasted, and a plentiful portion too.

Cost including a soft drink each was €28 which is a bargain.

Despite not having an idealic spot being next to a road island, definitely would visit here again. Hardly any traffic disturbed our dining.

The service was good , friendly and gentle , but the food was not . I asked for a simple salad and they brought me salad with mais and Tuna Fish. I asked for a beef fillet and they brought me a steak very thin and dry and paid it as a fillet. Hemos estado en tres ocasiones en este restaurante, la relación calidad precio es bastante buena , por lo que me lleve a unos amigos a cenar un sábado por la noche ( eran las 22:35 exactamente). En la terraza estaba todo casi lleno, pero en el comedor no había nadie, le decimos al camarero si podiamos cenar ( 6 adultos y 6 niños , )lo primero que hace es mirar el reloj(22:36,sábado 11 de agosto)y se le cambia la cara,lo segundo es mirar al parrillero , que entiendo que es el dueño, y me dice que no tiene género para tanta gente ,nos quedamos un poco sorprendidos , y al ver mi cara , le pregunta al parrillero , y nos vuelve a decir que no puede ser , que no tiene suficiente género.

La verdad que no entiendo , como sin Saber lo que íbamos a pedir , sabía que no tenian suficiente genero, son adivinos ????

Deberían de poner un cartel ,donde ponga que la cocina está cerrada a partir de las 22:30 para grupos de 12 personas , y así no quedar mal con un grupo de amigos que venimos expresamente a cenar a un restaurante , a una hora bastante...
