Ristorante - Pizzeria Vivi Taormina — Restaurant in Torremolinos

German students (and teachers) scammed at restaurant. Told us afterwards that some of us said "30 to 35 euros is fine". Obvious lie, none of us said that and trying to lie about that is pretty scummy

We came to the restaurant with our Spanish class and the owner told us we can eat for a good price. He talked to us in German and smiled and said something along the lines of "first we'll serve you my signature bruscheta, then we'll get you my pizzas, they're big so you can share, and then we'll all get you a lovely lasagne and if you behave well, you'll get our dessert too" The bruscheta for was good. The pizzas which we shared were good too. The lasagne. The lasagne confused me because frozen lasagne I make tastes better. The price was 16 euros!! And then he was gonna charge us for the dessert which he made it sound like it was on the house if our teachers had not complained to him. Afterwards he lied to the students who suggested it for the whole class and said "the boys in the back said 30-35 euros is fine" which was a lie.

In short: Ambiente was ok. Food was decent except for the lasagna. Owner was extremely ehh for trying to scam a group of teenagers....

This was a real Italian restaurant and we had a lovely meal for 2. I had garlic bread starter and my wife had brucschetta Italiana, Our starters were priced at €6.90 each, my garlic bread was so big I was shocked when it was given to me. For our main courses I had a BBQ pizza (€14.90) and my wife had a Vegetarian Pizza (€12.90) Both the pizza's were totally delicious, the bases were thin and crispy without been burnt and they were full of flavour. The kichen is open plan right there at the end of the restaurant and you can see everything going on with the preparation and cooking of your meal so you know it's all freshly made. We had 1 drink each and we were so full we simply couldn't find room for the deserts so we can't comment on them but everything else was first class, Lovely meal, lovely atmosphere and the host was very charming and offered us some homemade Limoncello at the end of the meal but it was too strong for me as I don't drink alcohol but it was a nice touch from the owner. Mediocre food, warm beer, total mess on the bill (charged for multiple drinks we did not have) 1 table close to ours was unhappy and cancelled their order, other tables were complaining.

We were warned that there was a delay on pizzas (which is fair), staff did their best to cater for poor management and organistion.

Management were blaming the serving staff ! - I blame the management.

1 small pizza oven for 20+ tables in an Italian restaurant, what are you thinking?
