Absolutely outstanding food, wine & service. We were recommended to try this restaurant by friends & unfortunately only found it on our last night of our holidays & were so sorry to be going home the following day as we all would have loved to return & try other foods on the menu. There were 4 of us in our party & 1 wasn't very keen to try the tapas & was hoping to have fries. The lady owner (Lucinda l believe) explained there wasn't fries on the menu as this was an authentic Spanish restaurant but explained very nicely there were plenty of bars & restaurants nearby where these could be purchased. Thankfully because the rest of us really wanted to try the menu it was agreed to stay. Lucinda explained what was on the menu & we all had the 5 tapas offer each & l order the gambas too. Lucinda recommended a wine to accompany & it didn't disappoint. The food was absolutely stunning & so many fantastic flavours & excellent value for money. We ended up having a few more bottles of wine whilst talking to a lovely Dutch couple who later joined our table & before we knew it the evening was over & the staff were starting to clear up. It was such an enjoyable evening, in a lovely atmosphere with fabulous food, wine, service & company, what more could anyone ask for. Thank you to the staff at Secretos Ibericos for making such a...

Great recommendation from a friend and really pleased to have found this unique and excellent bistro. The products they serve are of the highest quality, but with prices that are sympathetic toward the average pocket. We sampled the cheese and Iberian ham as we were too late/early for any hot food - it was superb! However, the main reason for our visit was to sample the fine Spanish wines that owner & sommelier offers alongside her foods. For those that have visited the wine trails across the world, I can guarantee that this will be a revelation - usually, it's a hit and miss experience trying to find a wine that you like versus the cost to buy and also involves a fair amount of leg work. So, being able to sample some of the finest wines that Spain has all in one spot is superb! Uniquely, you can buy these wines by the glass rather than the bottle due to the gas replacement system employed to serve them - the bottle is never opened but the wine is always fresh as if just opened.... it's fantastic! If you enjoy fine wines and fine foods, please go and find out for yourself - you will not be...

Had dinner here twice and lunch once on a one week holiday in La Carihuela. This has really become my favourite restaurant in the area. They serve amazing meat, and also have an amazing self-service bar with pinchos (tapas). Definitely try one of their grilled Iberian cuts, I had the Iberian “Tenderloin” and Iberian “Feather” and they were incredible.

Besides that, one of the best things about this restaurant is that you can get all wines by the glass. They use a machine that lets you have some wine from the bottle without opening it, so you can have any wine you’d like without ordering a whole bottle! Ask for a wine pairing and they will make sure...

Update: my second visit this week as brilliant as the first. I had the pluma ibérica this time and it was to die for. The recommended wine was also divine. I am so glad to have discovered this place at the beginning of my stay so that I can visit again this week. Self-service tapas were all delicious, it was difficult not to have more. But the ham...there are hardly words to describe how good. Absolute melt in the mouth stuff. Then there is the wine...fantastic too. All is created and served by a wonderful team who make sure your every want is satisfied. Do not go past this place!

By far the best meals I had in Torremolinos. Absolutely delicious tapas (go inside and ask for las tapas calientes?) - 5 dishes - see photo - for €10 or you can choose equally yummy cold tapas off the bar (4 for €5). The former particularly was amazing portion sizes. All very friendly female staff so great if you’re a woman dining alone (which several local women were doing when I was there the first time). And try the sangria and the tartar de salchichón de Malaga - scrumptious 🥰
