Playa Miguel Beach Club — Restaurant in Torremolinos

First night my Fiancée and i went to this beach club we had such a great time. The cocktails was great and the vibe was great, so we decided to go the next day to the VIP beach section and to our surprise it was different. I dont know if its because I was black or he was arab or both, but imagine being in a vip beach section, nice atmosphere and then you try to order drinks and the waiter telling you they dont work that section and have to wait so long that you have to get up 3 times to go to the bar section to take your order. My Fiancée went 3 times to the bar because the waiter telling us they gonna ssendsomebody and didnt send anybody. Anyways we didnt say anything but he was upset and i told him to dont let that kill our vibe, we're on vacation. The next day we decided to go and it was the same thing. I had to yell at one of them because I said this is not normal, how can these people be so unprofessional for such a nice environment? When they see I was angry they brought our drinks fast and before they told us they dont understand English. Where most tourist be you telling me you dont understand English? Then how will we order if you dont understand what we are saying? Then one of them that brought our food just came and put it behind us on the bed. We didnt even know when he came and left, NO PROFESSIONALISM. This place is beautiful but the waiters that work on the beach are very SLOW AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Imagine if someone popular go and they dont know? Being a chef and in the business it was so annoying. Nice place, nice and fresh cocktails, but waiters on the beach is so bad and they will make people not wanting to come again or recommend to their friends and family.

One more thing The 3rd day my fiancé decided to let me get a massage and honestly I loved the massage. She was passionate about her job and she was indeed great at her work.

Stop hiring people that don't want to work because like that your business will just be...

Sooo....have been to Play Miguel quite regularly. Really like the place. The staff are friendly and the service is usually great. On this occasion we did not have a bed booked....as it is the 07 august we were pessimistic about getting a bed but arrived at 10.30 hoping that there would be some free. We were told that there were 2. These were the ones right by the bar. I asked are any of the other beds free. We were told No. Ok, we will take one by the bar.....about 20 mins later we see the owner/ manager walk down with a couple and 2x kids. He asked, 2 big or small beds....meaning the small are the sun loungers....the man replied big. The lady who told is that there were no beds free shows the couple and kids to a bed where we had asked was available. NOT ok.....we didnt challenge why this happend as i thought the answer would have been that they had a cancelation and really Did not want any agro or cause a fuss ....i rarley let bad reviews but as this litterly carried out in front of me i was...

Every morning started the same — barefoot on the terrace, fingers wrapped around a cup of coffee that somehow tasted better than anywhere else. The breeze was gentle, the light golden, and the sea? That kind of blue that quiets everything inside you.

This beach club isn’t just well-designed — it’s well-felt. Impeccably clean, beautifully arranged, and run by people who clearly care. No fake smiles, no forced hospitality. Just genuine warmth and a flow that makes you slow down, breathe deeper, stay longer.

Some mornings were silent, with only the waves and soft tunes in the background. Other days, the energy would lift with a live DJ, and the place would subtly shift — still elegant, still easy, but with that quiet pulse of something electric.

It’s rare to find a spot that gets the details right and the feeling right. This place? Nailed both.

Already counting the days till I can sit there again — coffee in hand, heart wide open.
