The food was lovely, service was poor.

There wasn’t a problem whatsoever with our food or drinks but we could tell pretty much straight away that they weren’t very accommodating to tourists, attitude and vibes were off. (I fully understand that it’s probably frustrating having to speak someone else’s language for the sake of business but they had a whole translation on their menu so it’s not like they didn’t know English very well).They didn’t come over to ask us how our food was, even when they came to collect our plates (we got desserts and coffee too).

The final straw was after we’d eaten I went to the bar to simply ask for tap water, I’m English so at first I just thought maybe he wasn’t understanding me. I slowed it down to water from the tap, (motioned turning a tap etc). But he just straight up told me no? He then went behind the bar and asked ‘you want water?’, when I said yes he pulled out water from a glass bottle that he obviously wanted to charge me for. I just declined politely and told him I’d like tap water again and he just told me no. At this point I just walked back to our table. Never witnessed anything so stupid at a restaurant in my life, refusing someone TAP water so you can charge them for the expensive stuff. Didn’t bother leaving a tip and will not be...

This is a lovely bar/restaurant, it's right opposite the sandy beach. Compered to others like it, it has a smaller menu but the food is definitely the best we've had in the area. The salads are amazing, the fish and meat is really fresh & cooked as you ask them to. Also a good selection of Tapas, we had the crab salad & some potato dishes for lunch today.
