Incredibly Delicious Rice Dishes!

Food: a great variety of Spanish rice dishes lots of seafood a good selection of wines

Personal Highlights: Arroz y Bogavante - a delicious rice dish with lobster Paella Mixta - paella with seafood and chicken

Service: very friendly very welcoming quick in serving the food the Arroz y Bogavante was served at our tables on our plates

Location: enough space to sit comfortably at tables indoors and outdoors walking distance to the beach

We went to this restaurant twice during our holidays in August and we enjoyed the food very much! It‘s close to the beach, and it seemed to us like many Spanish people also had dinner there (which we interpreted as a good sign for authentic Spanish food). The lobster rice (arroz y bogavante) was incredibly delicious! Thank you so much to the team of the restaurant Mesón Las Jarras. We had a great time!

Literally the most expensive restaurante I have ever been to. Awful service - 9 EUR for a crepe with ice cream. Menu was expensive for very little food, food that was clearly purchased frozen and then heated up. Service slow. Had to ask 5 times for ketchup and mayo for our calamares, the condiments came 30 mins later (after we finished the food clearly). The bill was given to us, with 4 errors. on top of this, when we questioned the bill, the waiter rudely returned with a price HIGHER than what was originally on the bill, (hence the 9EUR crepes). customer services skills need a review! Do not recommend this place, it seems like they are running down, as it was never this bad...

We ate here for a snack yesterday. We sat outside as the sun was shining, we ordered three sandwiches from the board that’s up on the wall. It took 45 minutes for our toasted sandwiches to arrive ( it was around 2.30pm). I enjoyed the sandwich. When the bill came it was different to what I was expecting, the sandwich’s were €2 more each than the advertised price. I didn’t query it, just couldn’t be bothered, paid and left. All the board needed was some stickers with the correct price on. It wasn’t a great experience. It’s quite an expensive menu if you are looking for a snack.
