POMODORO Pizza Pasta Burritos — Restaurant in Torrevieja

The food is not great. The 5 cheese pizza has a very odd taste to it. We both tried it and it wasn't good. The food in general was a bit bland. The queso rings that are a starter are good.. but that's about it, The main reason for the 2 stars is the combination of the mushroom maccheroni. And the customer service.

The pasta was bland and had a very weird taste, the sauce wasn't mixed into the pasta and there was water in the bottom of the bowl. When we complained to the waitress we simply got a "sorry" and that was it. We saw her take it into the kitchen and walk straight back out. No feed back to the kitchen, no resolution for us. The worst experience of Italian food I have ever had. Chewy pizza, frozen and cold lasagna, dry salad, completely disinterested manager…horrible atmosphere and terrible system. Never again, a very misleading advertising (fresh pasta! On the menu) when it all frozen and processed. So much better places close by. Don’t make the mistake we did. Horrible place in general.

It's pretty hard to make a pizza inedible. And there are certain expectations you have when the restaurant calls a pizza Napolitano. But I only managed to finish half of my pepperoni pizza - a pizza not remotely anything like a Napolitano pizza. The thick bottom of the pizza and a very strange "cheese" topping that didn't taste or feel like cheese made this pizza extremely hard to finish - and I don't think I've left unfinished pizza ever at a restaurant. In fact, this is the worst pizza Ive ever had apart from maybe a handful of frozen ready...
