Restaurant Montserrat — Restaurant in Torroella de Montgrí

Recommended! We had no plans to go, until we saw a calzone. Surprise recommendation, ask for the Calzone of the chef (it never take seafood and this is great), the other calzone is with tuna. We ordered tomato salad with mozzarella, when I gave it to myself, I wanted a little green in it, and they delighted me. They have very attentive and very good service. We recommend eating there, steamed Mussels, they are fresh, great, and trust me, i hated mussels before and now i only want them!! So thanks!

About the price, mussels are arround 9€!!!!!!!!! So...

Sadly this must have changed hands since our last visit. This was always a classy restaurant with a great wine menu, ambience inside and food. Tonight we ordered 3 x filet steaks that came up stone cold in the middle and had to be sent back. Mine was so grisly and inedible I refused to pay for it, which was accepted. A really nice place overlooking the harbour and seafront with a nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with our small children.
