Dined here or the first time last night.We had made a reservation but wasn’t really required as the restaurant is quite large with tables both inside and out .We received a warm welcome which is always special & we chose to sit on the terrace and watch the wonderful sunset whilst listing to the waves rolling in.Magical.Within minutes our drinks order had been taken and we were perusing the extensive menu.Ice cold drinks in ice cold glasses were soon served closely followed by complimentary popadoms and the most delicious pickle tray.Such a nice touch.We declined starters and sought advice from the helpful & knowledgable waiter for the main courses which was not only welcome but very interesting.Just time for another drink before the delicious main courses arrived wonderfully presented in their own traditional covered bowl together with our ordered naans.We all found them absolutely delicious.We declined desserts and enjoyed our complimentary shots before leaving with a friendly farewell from the staff. Truly enjoyed this place with my Mom. The new owners were delightfully caring, the white tablecloths and squeaky clean surroundings spoke of quality and attention to detail. I had chicken mango and my Mom had Daal (a lentil dish) with Naan and the portions were more than enough. The freshly baked, soft Naan was so big, it completely buried the bread basket. My chicken was tender and my Mom's Daal was very tasty as well. The music was pleasant and unobtrusively playing in the background. Our server was attentive and friendly. Tasty food with friendly staff.

This review is edited. Gave 4 which was reasonable for the service and food. However, guy then came out and confronted me saying 'So you didn't like the food?'. Found this strange as I had given 4* and said the food was tasty. Not cool to do this. Also, they didn't countenance my aunty's guide dog sitting inside. They gave us free shots at the end of the meal and think they expect everyone to then give...
