Madras Curry House - Authentic Nepalese and Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Torrox

Our first visit to Madras Curry House restaurant in Torrox Costa was absolutely amazing, and that initial experience made us come back numerous times. After returning several times, we can now confidently say this place is truly special.

From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the outstanding hospitality and the warm, customer-focused attitude of the staff. The person in charge, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, creating a truly unforgettable experience. Their politeness, attentiveness, and genuine passion for ensuring every guest feels special stood out from the very start.

Every dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with authentic flavors, and they were more than happy to customize it to suit our tastes and make it less spicy or not add coriander.

To top it off, we were treated to complimentary food and tea during every visit, a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch to the whole experience.

The atmosphere was so inviting and filled with positive energy that we truly felt at home. We can’t stop raving about how delicious everything was and are already looking forward to our next visit. I tried many times to call for delivery Wednesday 25 th October, hardly a busy night, at 6.45 pm ..but no answer, so I walked to restaurant and ordered direct, I wanted to order 3 different lamb dishes , plus extras.... was informed no lamb was available...... only chicken!!! How weird... Due to this I had to reduce my order by more than half ... I ordered chicken jalfriezi medium spice . It was not nice, just very, very, tasteless chicken cubes in tomato sauce +( tasted liket tomato soup) with few chunks of green n red pepper, no spices or Indian / Nepali flavour at all .. so bland I was shocked .. I do not recommend, nothing like jalfriezi . I ordered bindi bhaji veg dish was passable, but barely , again very very bland. Also ordered a naan god knows what I was served, but it was not a naan.. my guess it was a chapati, thin as a poppadom but was bread, rip off at 2. 50 for a single hand sized chapati, what I was served had never seen a tandoori oven. I have eaten Indian food weekly, and more importantly Nepali food around the world and by far these were the most disappointing dishes I've had ever ... Such TINY TASTELESS portions... Auténtica cocina Nepali. La comida es fabulosa. El cordero es espectacular. Tanto si te gusta el picante como si no es muy recomendable . La familia que lo regenta es un encanto. Si pasáis cerca no dudéis en entrar cuando la comida se hace con cariño y devoción se nota.

Authentic Nepali kitchen. The food is fabulous. The lamb is spectacular. Whether you like spicy or not is highly recommended. The family that runs it is a charm. If you pass by do not hesitate to enter when the food is made with love and devotion it shows.
