Restaurante Asiático Jing — Restaurant in Torrox

I would like to give a better review, because we had a lovely evening sitting watching the sun go down and the people walking along the promenade. Dogs are welcome too. But, the place was quite busy and they don't seem to have enough staff. When our food arrived, the waiter put it down and went away. We sat for a while expecting him to return with cutlery so that we could eat, but none came. After a while I went in search of a waiter and when I managed to get their attention I tried to ask for cutlery but do not know this in Spanish so ended up saying "chop sticks" OK he said.i returned to the table and after a while he appeared with some chopsticks. But no cutlery. So we tried to manage with these even though we had been given plates not bowls. Then, I finished my glass of beer and wanted another. Couldn't see a waiter so my wife went in to ask for another. Nothing arrived so after another ten minutes I went in and asked. "Oh yes he said I'll bring it" eventually it did arrive, but I had nearly finished the meal by then. Perhaps we were just unlucky and they were busier than expected. Es un restaurante en primera línea de playa, somos asiduos de Torrox y nunca habíamos entrado, por las buenas calificaciones hemos entrado a las 9.50, 5 personas, 3 niños y 2 adultos, son las 22.32 y nos acaban de traer dos rollitos, y nos dicen que no tienen pechuga de pollo, pero a una pareja que parece que conocen a los camareros, les traen media ración, han entrado como media hora más tarde que nosotros... También les traen arroz, a nosotros nada de nada.. Seguimos esperando, creo que va a ser la primera y la última vez, con tres niños y esperando y sin cenar, nos traen 4 bolitas de pollo ...y que siguen sin hacer el arroz... 10.45 aparecen con el arroz y la ternera, está buena, pero esto no es ni medio lógico ni normal. Una parte de la carne de bambú y setas está cruda. Acabamos de salir, el responsable del restaurante ha venido y se ha disculpado, porque parece ser que han perdido la comanda... Y se ha ofrecido a traernos otro plato o una bebida, le hemos dicho que no gracias y finalmente nos han aplicado un 10% de descuento, que se agradece por parte del responsable que ha sido el único que ha dado la cara y no nos ha dado excusas bastante poco creíbles que nos han ido dando, según salía la comida se otras personas y la nuestra no. La comida está buena, y la experiencia es bastante mala, lo único bueno es que el responsable es sincero y honesto dando una respuesta al cliente por una mala experiencia. Lo dejo en 2 estrellas...

Had a super meal, with group of 12 friends, at Jings last night to celebrate Chinese New year. All the dishes that our party ordered were delicious. Especially the crispy duck pancake starter, crispy beef, sweet and sour balls (very tasty sauce). Chinese beer recommended too! Everything was great including the friendly service and fireworks! All at a very very reasonable cost. Going again ASAP.! Definitely best Chinese...
