Cafe Bar Fortuna — Restaurant in Torrox

Portions medium to small, comparing to the same dishes I had in other chiringuitos or restaurants on Costa del Sol. I asked for rosada a la plancha (con patata asada y ensalada, the side dish is included), my friend had gambas pil-pil and the children shared some grilled chicken with fries and salad (side dish included). We also ordered salsa de pimienta. We wanted mushroom salsa, but there wasn't any left. My baked potato was absolutely delicios, the salsa the same. Rosada had a weirdish flavour, like something between garlic and mint... Did not seem to gi with the perfect potato at all! The gambas pil-pil were not spicy. The service was so and so: the drinks came very quickly, but we waited a while until someone else came for the food order. The food came after a decent time of waiting, but the guy forgot the salsa. All in all, a nice place to eat by the beach, but I will try something...

We have eaten here twice and had drink here 3 times and have had excellent service on every occasion the cod,octopus and pork chops are top notch and the staff are all friendly when I ordered the pulpo galleria the waiter made sure I knew what I was getting by showing me a photo of the dish and I hadn't even asked the vino casa is good also.You will feel welcome...

We have been here on several occasions and as usual the food and service were excellent. Very good value for money and served by two very pleasant brothers. We would recommend this restaurant. Just wish it was open in...
