Restaurant L'Ajustada — Restaurant in Tossa de Mar

My original review was removed after the owner claimed it was fake - I am happy to be contacted by Google to prove I was in Tossa and did attend the restaurant during my visit. The reason for the terrible review was the bitter personality of the owner and her incredibly rude actions, when she pushed her way into the toilet while I was using it. She went on and barked at me that it was only for customers and then re-iterated that I shouldn't use the bathroom before eating WHILE I WAS PAYING THE BILL. Refusing to apologize for walking into the toilet cubicle while I was using it is completely out of line and actually defended her actions makes that even worse. Simply gross.

Delicious food! We ate here three times and we loved the seafood paella and the crema catalana. From all the restaurant we visited in the week we spent in Tossa, we liked the restaurant best. On our last day, Dani, the waiter recommened us to try the fideua with lobster, the speciality from Maria, the cook of the house. Only she does this dish in Tossa and its absolutely spectacucular! I went here because they are one of the few restaurants with a vegetarian option on the daily menu. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. I started with the goat cheese salad which consisted of a lot of lettuce, some tomato, unpitted olives a three extremely thin slices if goats cheese. To season the salad I got some packages of oil and vinegar, which worked but feels like a waste of produce and plastic. As a main I had the vegetarian paella which wasn't tasty at all.
