BAR RESTAURANTE GRAN CANARIA — Restaurant in Valencia

My four stars are for restaurants that provide good food and service, provide good value, that meet my expectations and that I would visit again. This restaurant met all these points!

Despite the restaurant being almost we got a table in the terrace and were attended rapidly. We had the “menu del día”. Three courses with bread and drink…€11! While some plates were the “usual” (e.g. paella). Judging from photos of the menu from other reviewers, the menu changes and offers a good selection of dishes for whatever taste.

The food was fresh and tasty. We did not have to wait for the server to return between plates. He arrived just in the point.

All in all, a good option if you are in Alboraya and don’t mind a short walk...

Las tapas, algunas decentes, otras, como la ensaladilla, no recomendable. Eso sí, caro para una cantidad tan escasa, y un emplatado triste. La ternera de la brascada pecaba de dura. La atención al cliente ausente. Quizás, porque era una noche en la que no daban a basto. Por más veces que se pedía la bebida, nunca llegaba. Comentar, que pedimos "a la carta" . Y un plato combinado con un pequeño lenguado (congelado) , y una guarnición que llegó fría, y era escasa, costó 11 euros. Quizás, sea un bar para ir de menú. Pero, para pedir a la carta, relación calidad/precio no van de la mano. Espero que mi crítica constructiva, sirva para mejorar esos aspectos. Al fin de cuentas, de eso se trata. Quizás me anime a volver, eso sí, a probar el menú de medio día. Ya que personas de mi entorno, siempre hablan muy bien de su...

Holaa resulta que hemos ido almorzar con los compañeros de trabajo...afuera del restaurante hay un letrero que pone almuerzo 6€...PUES RESULTA QUE PEDIMOS LOS 4 LO MISMO LOMO CON TOMATE ALGO TÍPICO ALGO POPULAR"LOMO" DE LO MAS BARATO...PUES A LA HORA DE PAGAR RESULTA QUE NOS HAN COBRADO 8,50 UNA SORPRESA LA VERDAD, LE DIGO AL CHICO NO PONE 6 € Y ME DICE SI LO QUE PASA QUE EL LOMO NO ES ALMUERZO POPULAR...ALGO QUE COMO YA HE DICHO ANTES ES ALGO SUPER BARATO...RESULTA QUE EL CARTEL QUE PONE AFUERA ES UN ENGAÑO...LO QUE VALE 6 € NO SE QUE SERA POR QUE LO QUE PEDIMOS NOSOTRO ES ALMUERZO POPULAR DE TODA LA VIDA....EN FIN QUE YA NO VUELVO MAS...ADEMAS DEL CLAVAZO QUE NOS PEGARON...MUY MAL ORGANIZADO TARDAN MUCHO Y EL BOCADILLO QUE ME PUSIERON NO VALE NI 5 € UNA CORTADA DE LOMO QUE DABA PENA LA VERDAD...
