Laifu — Restaurant in Valencia

The best Chineese food in Valencia. And I tried a lot ☺️ Now it also deliveres at home, I ordered from them through the Just Eat application. (I suppose they also deliver if calling at their own number.) Great food: delicious and coming in big portions, while incredibly cheap. (One cannot go wrong not even with the daily menu, it's as good as ordering a la carte.) Great service, also: friendly, calm, very fast waiters. The whole family owning the place are so sweet. The place is also very kid-friendly - everytime I have to celebrate something with my young sons, this is our place. I don't know what to recommend - all the food is good, there is something for all tastes and preferences ☺️ The only thing I don't know what to say about are the wines, I don't drink much. I love this place. It's a casual, unpretentious Chinese restaurant that serves delicious food in generous portions.

I am baffled by a 1-star review recently submitted claiming that the food was bad and that portions were too small. I've been here many times and this is totally at odds with my experience.

It's not a luxury experience - and it's not meant to be. Everything I've eaten here was well made and excellent value. At these prices, I don't expect white glove service. It's open late and I've never had to wait too long for food.

Also, there's a cool fish tank with a couple of large plecos hoovering...

El peor restaurante chino de toda valencia. Normalmente, vamos a restaurantes chinos por la calidad que aportan. Empezamos mal con el servicio cuando pedimos una botella de agua y nos llega a la mesa ya abierta, algo que no he visto en toda mi larga vida. Comida horrible e insípida, el agridulce ni agrio ni dulce, más bien, agua sucia. El picante chino suele ser una pasada, pero en este sitio es apenas comestible, nada picante, y con un mal sabor de fondo. Pato con bambú y setas chinas horrible, sabor a fondo de vajilla sucia, bambú cocido el triple de lo que se debería de cocer, los champis parecían cartón y las "setas" podrían ser contaminantes por su gran porcentaje de plástico. Y como cereza en la tarta, el arroz blanco, no se lo come ni un perro, ya que al igual que el bambú, estaba pasado a más no poder. Lo único que nos ha satisfecho fueron los rollitos de primavera, los cuales tienen el doble de precio que en los sitios comunes. Ha sido una experiencia horrible, comemos comida china con mucha frecuencia y nunca nos habríamos esperado comer tan mal como aquí. Enorme delusión...
