Maria Mentira — Restaurant in Valencia

It’s my first time visiting Valencia, so I found this restaurant on google when I searched specifically for Colombian restaurant. I went there with exitment to try new food. Unfortunately, when I got there the atmosphere was so unwelcoming. The lady at the restaurant didn’t even bother to come to the door to welcome me and give me a site. She asked me something in Spanish. I told her no Spanish I said “ English?” She said no English still from afar. She made me feel like as I was a beggar or a kid he was there to run an errand. I’m a 30 yrs old guy. It is not about the language.. we could have some how communicated. It’s about the unwelcoming atmosphere. I left right from the door....

Siendo cliente habituales del sitio las últimas veces que hemos acudido ha sido decepcionante No preguntan si has terminado y se van levantando los platos por que se les llena y los necesitan sin fijarse o preguntar si uno ha terminado. La última vez acudí pidiendo una marranita el cual el producto ya se sabe que es un plátano macho y por lo cual queda más moreno ( no estaba moreno era ya negro por poco se les hace el reclamo el cual no cambian en su primer momento el plato que por qué es maduro y es así. Cuando se abre estaba totalmente congelado por dentro voy les digo y al rato sale el cocinero con tono desafiante y despectivo a entregarme el plato de una forma grosera y diciéndome que lo abra para ver si está igual? Vamos a ver cuál es la ofensa de cocina que se les entregue un plato que no está para salir a público que esté congelado? Quién es el dueño del restaurante? Por que yo soy cocinera y ni de broma en mi restaurante nos atreveríamos a que un cocinero saque un plato sabiendo que se lo han devuelto por esta CONGELADO no quemado ni morenos ni historias en fin por mi parte cero recomendacion con este local ya por qué cada vez q vamos hacemos un gasto mínimo de 80euros pero así sean 5 euros deberían de vender las cosas como son y tener modales con los clientes que para eso los cocineros no son...

I was very curious about this restaurant. Let's start with the pros: nice service and nice-looking food. Cons: plastic cups instead of glasses and the food, ehh.
