I love coming to this place, and to me its the best restaurant having been to numerous indian/pakistani/bangladeshi restaurants around Europe of all shapes and sizes.I have gone to this restaurant since the day it opened several times a year.
As usual I got a very friendly welcome from the door man who greeted me like a long lost friend.
You start at one end with a massive range of salads, asian, and some european including chutneys, and rice balls. You then move onto a range of starters various veggie dishes including chick pea starters, pakora's, various chicken starters, sheek kebab's, fish pakora's. Then onto various rice dishes, paratha's, nan breads and chappatis, then onto a range of various veggie curries, then a range of chicken and lamb curries, lots of special curries being cooked in the back by different chefs, I had the butter chicken OMG which was amazing, as was the lamb handi, along with the tarka daal.If you wish you can have a range of non curry dishes. Finally if you have room they do a massive range of various puddings including a amazing gulab jaman, and a kulfi with plenty of other deserts to choose from and a range of ice creams.
We had a lovely mango lassi to drink.
Great service and very busy. A unique...

We ordered two lamb currys and one chicken along with a biryani and naan breads. Currys were more like custard, all slightly sweetened and lacking any depth of flavour. The waiter was a really young chap and struggled even lifting plates when clearing our table. There was a strong bitter taste in biryani which we all guessed was due to the excessive use of corriander powder. As indians, and cooking and eating this type of food everyday, we are hard to be fooled with the mixture of light spices in the name of authentic curry. We asked for some raita sauce and onion salad, which every other Indian restaurant offers free of charge, but only at this place we had to even pay for it. If you are someone who wants real Indian food and not some mixture of dessert and curry in a bowl, then...

Found hair in the starters. Thankfully it was replaced although it took a while.
Brought roti and immediately, without asking anyone, served it on a used up plate on the table (not to the person who actually ordered it). The server then argued there was nothing wrong in that. No respect for customer's food allergies or preferences. Again, we helped them by swapping another order we just placed for naan with what they already served and requested fresh ones that took another 10-15 mins.
They mixed up the spice level requirements between different dishes. We had people with different food preferences and allergies and not all food was shared. So it took us a while to realise this level of goof up. Of course, we could have asked them to change it again but there was no time or patience left to do that.
I went...
