This place may actually be THE kind of Indian restaurant everyone is craving to find in Spain. The food can indeed be prepared to a decently high spice level (upon request) and the different spices were distinctly recognisable. The restaurant is not located in the fanciest neighbourhood of Valencià but it is definitely worth a small excursion there for the food. If you prefer you can also order and enjoy that tasty food at home / in your hotel room 😋
However, I never received decent Naans in Spain, don't expect much better here. The sauces served with the samosas are also not the best either, with artificial colourings, too much sugar and not enough taste. Still a 5 to me: the Samosas were delicious even without any sauce. Read moreSeeing the other reviews I hope this was just an extremely rare occurrence and I merely happened to be unlucky. The food was decent although nothing special and while they did seem to have issues with Spanish/communicating in general it wasn’t anything awful. However, after I had finished my meal it seemed as though everyone had gone on break or disappeared; I had to wait almost an hour after my meal to be handed the bill as the only person seated in the restaurant. And I received no apology or any acknowledgement, I don’t know how any restaurant can make a mistake like that but I hope this was just an extremely rare accident...
Read moreThe place doesn’t look like much from outside and it’s not in a busy commercial street, but you will be surprised by how good the food is, especially for the price.
I was happily surprised to a proper vindaloo, which is sadly not as easy to find in Valencia. My wife ordered a shrimp dish that was quite well spiced too.
We’ve been now a few times and will continue to go there...
