Horrible experience.

It started out nice when I found an open beachside table. I perused the menu, and while doing so, several (6) children were running around the tables, all the while the server was delivering food. The children were bumping into tables of people, including my table, and no parents were anywhere in sight. The staff did absolutely nothing to control this travesty. I grabbed my bag and went inside. I shared my concern with staff, and he ignored my concern and offered me a table inside. It may be a Spanish thing to allow the children to run loose and annoy the customers.

As I was hungry, I took a seat. The food was "so-so." However, the atmosphere with children on the loose was terrifying! Serious injuries will occur with this allowed behavior.

Then, for a topper to this experience, while eating my meal, I looked out the window to see a parent changing the diaper of one of the children - ON THE RESTAURANT TABLE!!

Therefore, although this provides the impression of a nice restaurant, beware that you will notice diapers being changed and children...

After reading a couple of the reviews of this place and others around it, I did not go with high expectations for the service and i still was disappointed. Service is not the forte of many places in Spain in my experience. I went to this place 3 times during a one-week period. The first time the server brought me the wrong fish, the second time another server brought me the wrong paella and the third time a completely diff server charged me two paellas instead of just one and gave me the most dishonest reason to do so. How you manage to mess up three times out of three is incomprehensible to me. It looks like minor mistakes, but each paella take about 45-50 minutes to get done. And the fish, depending on which, takes about the same time. So if they mess up, you either eat the wrong item or you wait another 45 minutes. It is one of the most, if not the most, disappointing experience i have had eating anywhere. The taste of the food was good. However, i will NEVER visit this...

Went here with a group of friends, well I actually wouldn't call them friends really but they were a group also going to Valencia and as some of my followers may know I am gravely afraid of dining alone so I brought them with me.

I asked the waiter for the finest vegan seafood paella. They brought it perfect timing, but to my shock and horror a langoustine crawled out from beneath the rice and pinched me with their sharp claws, I started bleeding profusly and desperately beckoned the wait staff over to call someone to aid for me.

All 36 staff members laughed at me and watched me lose 1.78 pints of blood, eventually one of my "friends" called me an ambulance. Apologies for any spelling/grammar mistakes as I am writing this review in a hospital bed with one eye (sea aboov laungustetine incdient)

My buddy and I went out for dinner here. These are what we ordered: Sangria Tortilla de ajos tiernos Patatas Bravas Parrildada de carne (Assorted Meat) Now, the sangria was good. Patatas bravas was alright not the best but okay enough. The tortilla was okay. But the Assorted meat for 35 euros was a disappointment. Meat was fatty, undercooked, and they are very unsanitary here. My friends meat was raw and it was rabbit meat, we had asked them to replace it and the waiter said they'll replace it but instead when the plate came back they just heated it up more and put more salt and they put the damned chewed up fat back on the plate and the bone and the piece of uncooked meat. Sure it's cooked now but they said they'd replace it but I guess not. Then when we got to the lamb guess what? Raw. Absolutely not worth eatting here.

We just returned to the UK after spending two weeks in Valencia and I was propelled to Google this restaurant in order to leave a review for them. We frequented this restaurant again and again and again during our holiday. The service from the managers, the waiters first class - so friendly - every time we visited. The food sooooo delicious! The best Patatas Bravas in Valencia, the most delicious paella in Valencia. Perfect merlot and Sangria for the hubby! My two kids loved their meals each night. Such a lovely restaurant and such a gorgeous view! You will not regret eating at this beautiful venue!! I am sure we will return one day, definitely if we return to Valencia we will :)

The food and service at Luz de Luna were both top notch! The only thing is the atmosphere was a bit lacking; it is currently the off season in Valencia and the weather is a bit cooler so the pation wasn't available and the large patio doors were closed up. The fried goat cheese with jam and the fried calamari were both incredible. The seafood paiya was great served with a good portion of shrimp, sea scallops and squid. The desert selection at Luz De Luna was extensive but we settled on the cheese cake with a berry compote and the tiramisu both were rich and flavorful but not to over the top. Ofcourse we had to have the cortado's and they were fantastic!
