Read moreWe’ve always had an unwritten rule to not eat at places where they do multiple cuisines but unfortunately we didn’t heed it this time.
We had read the reviews on here and expectations were high which didn’t help but we decided to try from both menus.
Starters we chose Gambas Pil and Chilli Nachos and mains Prawn Fajitas and the Tandoori Sizzler and the Chefs special Naan.
The Gambas was pretty bland (theme of the evening) with no flavour to the oil, the garlic was burnt and the chilli added no heat. The Nachos were dry, hardly any melted cheese and no flavour.
The mains weren’t much better, the fajitas tasted OK but my husband described them as being from a packet, like Old El Paso and the Salsa was from a jar.
The Sizzler admittedly looked great but there was zero depth of flavour to the meat (mostly cheap chicken cuts, leg and thighs) and came with a watery curry sauce that again was bland. The naan didn’t even fair that well and most of it was left on the plate.
I’ve no idea where the people reviewing this have eaten before but their taste buds must be dead!
Unfortunately one to avoid for...

We had poppadoms to start and they were definitely not fresh (we tore them to take them apart, that's how soft they were). We had chicken tikka tandoori and chicken biryani for our mains and the chicken was perfectly cooked in both. However, the rice in the biryani was very mushy and the chicken tikka tandoori was served on a sizzling plate on a bed of lettuce (instead of the onions and peppers you'd normally receive) which was inedible. The sauces we had were very bland and generally all the dishes lacked flavour. To be fair, the fish pakora for our starter was very nice though.
We had no complaints around the service/location, but wouldn't...
