The most delicious and perfectly cooked Indian and Tex-Mex flavours in the Vera playa area, courteously and professionally attended by Mr. Pritt, Bombay tacos features a beautiful upscale dinning room atmosphere with soft Hindi music, yet quite and calm ambience that offers the best value for its low prices. The varied and diverse authentic Indian and Punjabi cuisine offers so many delicious options. Our experience was truly excellent and the meals were above and beyond delicious and genuinely prepared. Our favourite dishes have been the buttered chicken, the Indian daal, the tikas and all the Korma and Punjabi dishes. The garlic naan and the chapati bread are just perfect. The Mango Lhasa is a mango flavoured yogurt beverage that is addictively delicious. All rices and curries are full of flavour offering the authentic Hindi gastronomic experience. The cherry on top are the high quality Tex-Mex and pizza options for a yet, more cosmopolitan experience. Bombay tacos features also a full bar and delicious, varied desserts and the attentive service is fast, courteous and highly professional. Bottom line is, Bombay tacos offers the best value return in overall experience for the right price. Thank you so much, Mr. Pritt for your excellent work...

We’ve always had an unwritten rule to not eat at places where they do multiple cuisines but unfortunately we didn’t heed it this time.

We had read the reviews on here and expectations were high which didn’t help but we decided to try from both menus.

Starters we chose Gambas Pil and Chilli Nachos and mains Prawn Fajitas and the Tandoori Sizzler and the Chefs special Naan.

The Gambas was pretty bland (theme of the evening) with no flavour to the oil, the garlic was burnt and the chilli added no heat. The Nachos were dry, hardly any melted cheese and no flavour.

The mains weren’t much better, the fajitas tasted OK but my husband described them as being from a packet, like Old El Paso and the Salsa was from a jar.

The Sizzler admittedly looked great but there was zero depth of flavour to the meat (mostly cheap chicken cuts, leg and thighs) and came with a watery curry sauce that again was bland. The naan didn’t even fair that well and most of it was left on the plate.

I’ve no idea where the people reviewing this have eaten before but their taste buds must be dead!

Unfortunately one to avoid for...

We visited this restaurant on 19/7/23. The restaurant is in a good location and was really clean and service was good. We visited after receiving recommendations from a number of people but we were really disappointed in the food.

We had poppadoms to start and they were definitely not fresh (we tore them to take them apart, that's how soft they were). We had chicken tikka tandoori and chicken biryani for our mains and the chicken was perfectly cooked in both. However, the rice in the biryani was very mushy and the chicken tikka tandoori was served on a sizzling plate on a bed of lettuce (instead of the onions and peppers you'd normally receive) which was inedible. The sauces we had were very bland and generally all the dishes lacked flavour. To be fair, the fish pakora for our starter was very nice though.

We had no complaints around the service/location, but wouldn't...

July 2024 They serve Mexican food but try and order a Margarita with it. They have tequila but absolutely no understanding of what a margarita is. March 2024 Always good food, pleasant atmosphere nice owner and staff. Just a solid restaurant experience. Jan 2024 Very nice Indian cuisine. Top notch all the way around. Very nice meal and service. Being from Colorado in the United States where TexMex cuisine is popular and common I was curious and hesitant about the TexMex menu offering from an Indian restaurant. I expected good Indian food considering the Indian heritage of the owners. Tried a blend of traditional Indian dishes and the Tacos. Okay Indian dishes were excellent. The Tacos wildly exceeded expectations and while not exactly following traditional TexMex they were without a doubt the best Dxmn Tacos I've ever eaten and I've eaten a lot. A little pricey but oh so worth it. Outstanding. Looking forward to the fajitas and burritos next time along with some traditional Indian dishes.

First time here. We were blown away by the tasty food. I had a mixed starter on a sizzler which had tandoori chicken, shish kebab prawn tikka, it was all excellent. My partner had fish pakara , the coating was crispy and cooked just right. The mains were lamb madras, again well cooked and just enough spices so it wasn't overpowering. A lamb Punjabi was the second main which was very flavoursome. Basmati rice, garlic naan and 3 pints of cobra...the bill 56 euros. Bargain.. we will be coming back!
