Bar-Restaurant Promenade — Restaurant in Vila-seca

I went today with my girlfriend, as we are vacationing in the area, and boy let me tell you I was very pleasantly surprised. I had been curious about Russian cuisine for a while, and this restaurant exceeded my expectations.

We had cured pork meat with black bread, pelmeni, Russian burger and plombir. The meat was tasty, lightly seasoned with black pepper, and coupled great with the black bread, which was soft, firm and slightly sweet.

The pelmeni were my favorite, they were accompanied by a white sour sauce and butter, all sprinkled with scallion. They were cooked perfectly, and each bite was full of juicy, tasty minced meat. It was also a good amount, for a very fair price. The Russian burger was pretty good too, and the generous side of mashed potatoes went well with it.

The plombir was a tasty treat, having one was enough to make it my favorite ice cream (and I'm very picky about ice cream).

The waiter (maybe owner? I don't know) was very friendly, checked on us, and even treated us to a shot of very very cold vodka.

All of that, and drinks (nesteas) for just 32€. Being on a beachfront restaurant, eating on the terrace enjoying the sea views, and in such a touristic area, I was expecting something much pricier.
