Seriously you must ignore the scathing review This is excellent quality home made local dishes, owned by a family and served with love The lady's are so Paitent and welcoming if you speak little Spanish, even if they are busy. They don't have lots and lots of staff but the service is fast enough, and always super friendly. The prices here are crazy good to, their menu dia for 3 courses, plus bread, plus a drink for 13€ is exceptional and there's always lots of choices and the portions are generous too, some of the hot starters are main course size. They deserve every success and we will return when we're local...

Had good expectations because of the high review scores. Ended up quite disappointed. Really average food, I had two bites of each dish and did not want more. A menu on a Saturday cost around 15eur and includes a salad and a main dish plus coffee. My husbands salad came without any sauces, had to ask for oil and took ages for them to bring it. Dish tastes like precooked and reheated while serving. Really slow service, I had to go to the counter to ask for cups myself. Found this place while running errands in Villanova. Food- Mama’s stew to start was amazing and could have been a meal alone. The house salad was filled with a variety of surprising and delicious ingredients including ham and tuna. Meatballs and sauce- delicious. Try their Vermut negro cesaro.
