We arrived completely on speck, late into Sunday lunchtime. We were very lucky to find only one of two outside tables. We were met by whom I can only presume as mine host who set up our table and brought us out a bottle of Rioca as ordered. We were then looked after by Elena, who saw to our every need. Le pongo una estrella porque no le puedo poner menos. Llevo años veraneando aquí y he venido a comer en otras ocasiones, el año pasado sin ir más lejos comimos delicioso filete en salsa de queso y otras cosas, el caso es que hoy hemos querido comer, y la camarera que nos atendió rubia de gafas nos ha hecho sentir desde el momento 0 que no tenía interés en atendernos alegando que el local estaba todo lleno cuando estaban las mesas vacías. Consiguió según ella hacernos hueco, y cuando hemos querido pedir solo nos ha ofrecido menú del día, preguntamos si al ser un mesón asturiano podíamos pedir de carta lo tópico, cachopo por lo menos, y nos ha dicho que de lunes a viernes sólo atienden de menú sin darnos opciones. Puedo entender lo del menú del día pero... Un mesón asturiano no tiene para los turistas una fabada o unos cachopos fuera del menú del día? El verdadero problema aquí fue la educación, porque si solo tienes menú me lo dices tranquilamente sin contestarme como si debiera saberlo por ciencia infusa y mínimo si me ofreces macarrones con tomate y te digo que entonces no quiero te despides. Horrible experiencia, seguiré disfrutando del resto de bares de aquí, pero al mesón no vuelvo pese a todos estos veranos...

Ich habe habe in diesem Restaurant Kabeljau mit einer Blauschimmel-Käsesauce bestellt. Der Fisch war voller Gräten und von gummiartiger Konsistenz. Dies spricht für die Verwendung von TK Ware oder Nichteinhaltung der optimalen Garzeit. Als „Beilage“ gab es nur ein paar Tomatenscheiben und Spargelstücke aus dem Glas (sic!). Die Sauce war versalzen und der Geschmack der Blauschimmelkäses kam dadurch nicht zur Geltung. Ich kann die positiven Bewertungen leider nicht nachvollziehen. Als regelmäßiger Besucher gehobener Restaurants kann ich die Qualität von Fischgerichten durchaus beurteilen und diese ließ hier leider sehr zu wünschen übrig. Auf meine entsprechende Reklamation reagierte man mit Unverständnis und bestand auf der vollständigen Bezahlung des Gerichts (18 Euro für ca. 200g Fisch). Es wurde - und dies ist in jedem besseren Restaurant selbst bei aus Sicht des Restaurants unberechtigten Reklamationen üblich - nicht einmal ein Digestif oder Dessert auf Kosten des Hauses angeboten.
