I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this cafe. I came with my dog, hoping for a pleasant experience, already sat down and almost ordered breakfast , but I was asked to leave the cafe in a rude manner! The feeling of rejection was unpleasant and very rude. I believe it would be helpful to establish clear rules and policies regarding pets prior to visiting a cafe. I was hoping for a friendlier attitude from the staff, as this is not my first visit to this cafe. It would be nice to see more hospitality and tolerance for visitors with pets. The best freshly roasted coffee outside of Italy, we travelled for two hours just because we couldn’t wait to enjoy Federica and Matt’s great coffee, and we weren’t disappointed. Of course we had to also try their freshly made focaccia and other treats, which exceeded our expectations by far. We have lived in and visited Javea throughout our lives and when Caffe Milano opened up we were very excited to have a new local coffee spot. We were not disappointed and in fact Federica and Matt are now considered friends to us! The coffee is perfect, and the food is delicious. They are so warm and welcoming, friendly and personable.
