Sushitio Jávea — Restaurant in Xàbia / Jávea

We booked here for our anniversary dinner for a lovely romantic evening & it was far from it. We arrived at 7pm for our table (all be it a little early) but they are advertised to be open from 7pm and they were closed, they did not arrive to open until 7:15, we soon got in the restaurant around 20 past, then had to wait for them to finish setting up. They didn’t provide menus nor did they explain that we had to use the QR code, so after using our initiative & looking at the QR menu, we proceeded to sit and wait around 10 minutes before the 1 of 2 members of staff came over to take an order. We ordered 2 starters & 4 sushi dishes, which came out 1 by 1 and we waited 20 minutes between EACH dish as they were prioritizing take away orders between our dishes, we sat with empty plates & glasses as the 2 members of staff were both preparing food for takeaways, and not paying attention to the customers they had in the restaurant, so bad we couldn’t even order more drinks as when they came to put food on the table they immediately rushed off back to preparing takeaway orders. The quickest bit of service we received is when we ordered the bill, which came straight away, almost like they just wanted rid of us. Don’t get me wrong, the quality of the food & the flavors were lovely & i would recommend it for the taste, but only for takeaway as that’s what they seem to prioritize. Extremely disappointed as this cost us 90€ for 2, for a special occasion and realistically it was a waste of money as good food does not cover up bad service...

Fuimos a cenar y la relación calidad precio desorbitado. Empezamos por la calidad. Pedimos el menú degustación. Lo primero la carta está mal. Te pone un menu degustación que y las cantidades no son por cada menú, sino que es por casa persona. Entiendo que si van 7 personas no se puede pedir. Todos los menú degustación que he estado siempre son cantidades individuales. Eso sí el precio p.p. Eso sí lo detallan bien. Empezamos por los entrantes. Ensada edame muy del montón. Gyozas las doy el aprobado pero ya está. Tiradoto de salmón. La verdad muy bueno. Por otro lado 1 nigiri de atún fusión 1 nigiri de salmón fusión 1 nigiri de huevo de codorniz. Menos fusion y más sabor pediría yo. Y el plato principal uranski de salmón aburi. Mi acompañante se encontró dos espinas de gran tamaño. Algo inaceptable en el sushi. Por otro lado el uramaki especial sushito. Un uramaki con un flameado a base de azúcar para darle ese toque crujiente. Echar azúcar al sushi, una forma muy ingeniosa de cargartelo por completo. El postre, una selección de Mochis que no dicen nada. Hablemos del servicio, llegas a un restaurante vacío (luego entraron 2 mesas más) y los cuencos de la soja al 10% ni para una persona tienes que estar pidiendo que te lo rellenen. Baños sin papel. The food was quite good overall — some dishes stood out and were absolutely delicious, while others were a bit more average, but still enjoyable.
